Default Cricut Machines

After seeing more cartridges with things other than alphabets and with the design software coming out soon, I'm finally thinking of getting a Cricut machine. The one I'm leaning towards is the Expressions because of the size and extra features it offers. I would rather buy it in person instead of ordering it online (it's a quirk I have). I see that Michaels has it on their website now but my local store doesn't have it yet. I was wondering if anyone has seen them in their stores? Is this something they are going to have soon? I would have thought before the holidays to sell more of the machines, but that doesn't seem likely the closer we get to them.

Thanks,
Stacy

Is there a date yet for the software? I've been hearing that it will be available "soon" for a year now!

I've seen the Expression machine in both AcMoore and Joann etc. stores.

Hobby Lobby has the Expression, too. You are going to pay much more in the stores. I bought my Expression online and had a wonderful experience. www.acmoore.com is having a special on the Expression bundle right now with only $5 shipping and it comes with 4 cartridges instead of 2.

Good luck!

I thought I read a post or blurb somewhere it was December on the design software but I could be wrong. I went back to the places I was reading on it and now can't find it.

hmmm that bundle deal at acmore.com does make it tempting to get it there. Has anyone ordered one of the Cricuts from there? I guess I don't want to buy it online only for it to have problems right out of the box.

I don't know if sale prices are consistent in all states, but here in SE Michigan Joann's has the Expression on sale for $349. That sounds like a good price.

Yep. I bought my mom the regular Cricut two weeks ago from AC Moore online and it arrived in a week. They were on sale for $129 but are back up to $205. If I didn't already have the ebug I would not pass up this deal on the bundle. I love my bugs!
