Default Did I get wrong punch?

I was at ACM today and noticed they now carry the EK Success punches..they had the 1 3/8 round punch that SU sells..I bought it thinking that it would fit the riveting set I have..well..I dunno, it leaves a good 1/4 inch around..is that what it looks like when using the SU one? I was thinking it would be the exact size of the stamp?? help

I tend to think that any punch purchase is a good one :-)

When I want a little more white space around my Riveting stamps, I use the 1 3/8-inch punch. When I want a tighter fit, I use the 1 1/4-inch punch (and then often I mount that on a 1 3/8-inch circle).

Hope that helps,
Amy

I prefer mine with a little more edge to it.

SU has 1 and 3/8th and 1 and 1/4th I think.... so maybe the stamp set is set for the smaller one?

i have a bunch of different sizes of circle punches.... i like to be able to layer if i want to.

i have used the riveting set many times... some with and some without layers.

Let's see if I can type this clearly! The Circle of Friendship is 1" in diameter. I use a 1" circle punch (EK Success from Michael's, SU doesn't make one) for the stamp and Mat it with 1-1/4 punch and 1-3/8 if I want double mat.

The Riveting is 1 and 1/4" in diameter. I punch it with the 1-1/4 punch and mat with 1-3/8.

Snow Flurries uses 3/4 " punch.

Little Pieces uses Small circle punch.
