OK, what the heck is up with all of the 12x12 paper and the ribbon. Do they want me to go totally broke this month. Now I have to have my demo place an order TODAY before I miss out!

Why the 12 x12 cardstock and the cartridges. Are they tslking about the big or small cartridges. Are they going to all bigger wheels and eventually doing out with the smaller wheels. Why get rid of the cartridges.

As for the ribbon, I think that we'll still see most of the grosgrain ribbon, just renamed to match the core 48 colors, ie Real Red ribbon instead of Red ribbon
Just saw this at the bottom of the email from my demo....guess it answers some of the questions about hte 12x12 paper, and the ribbon.
In addition to discontinued items, many years we also have a number of items that are being offered in a different quantity or assortment in the upcoming catalogue. This year, we're offering the following items differently in the Fall-Winter Collection 2007:
Select individual colour packs of 12" x 12" card
stock
Confetti White & Kraft Tiny Takeout boxes & tags
 Select embossing powder colours
 Select 1/4" grosgrain ribbon colours
 Corner Rounder punch
I thought I read on here that there is a SU discontinued accessories list. I don't have one (yet) from my demo and I can't seem to find that it's listed on the SU website. Anyone have one you can email me [email protected]
Some of the items on the list really surprise me. The wrought iron punch has always been my favorite. The pearl ex also surprises me. I guess I should geer some of lumiere before it is gone also.
May this just shows how good the new catalogue will be when it comes out.

Anyway, I personally think from several hints I saw that much of the ribbon is either going or being renamed... just a hunch ;)
I would look for designer paper to be on the way out as well, not sure what will stay and what will go... but seems to be MUCH more paper on the horizon...
I'm a little worried about several of the punches, but not as much as the ribbon.... you can never have too many punches IMO and I think SU would be crazy to retire more after axing so many last year...
We already know about the amount of wheels going...
I'm also thinking they might change the on Board items...
BUT don't quote me on that, it's all just speculation!
Well look at that! Everything I mentioned was true!

As was already posted, I believe we will see grosgrain in many, if not all, of the 48 colors! In the demonstrator's monthly magazine, they listed the current rose grosgrain as "regal rose" grograin in the supplies list for a card.. that leads me to believe they are simply renaming many we already have, and possibly adding more....
******* spoiler *********
there is also going to be WIDE chocolate chip grosgrain
Is going gray disappearing completely? Everything associated with it seems to be going.
How can they be discontinuing recollections? It's my FAVORITE.
Going Grey classic ink has NOT been discontinued, but craft is. It is being replaced with Basic Grey, a waterproof ink similar to the Basic Black and Basic Brown. Not sure whether or not the cardstock will be renamed.

Corner Rounder punch
The current configuration is being discontinued-it will be available in the new catalog in a new configuration (either more or less sheets per pack)
I spoke with someone this morning about this and they told me that those colors will no longer be available separate but only in multi packs. The more popular colors, not on the list, will still be available in separate packs. I am very disappointed in this. I do not want to have to buy my 12x12 in multipacks. I am a huge scrapbooker and I like to have packs of ALL the colors on hand and I do go through a lot of it!!
what's the deal with the Stampin Around Ink Cartridges being retired?
I'm thinking that they are going to go back to the way it was many years ago where they only had a certain amount of cartridges. They haven't always had all 48 colors. Maybe they need more room on their pick lines for something else in the future.

Oh okay...that's understandable. Thanks Robyn.

Grosgrain Ribbon - most of them will probably return with a slightly new color that reflects the SU colors -so they will get rid of say Rose Grosgrain and bring in Rose Red Grosgrain - and since we are getting WIDE grosgrain they need to rename them to differentate between the two - i.e. narrow and wide. I HOPE and PRAy they continue to offer these on spools - in fact I hope they offer some of the new pattern ribbon on spools rather than packaged with other ribbon...2 yards don't do me a lick of good for classes and swaps

So does this mean there will be no more narrow grosgrain, or will they offer wide and narrow? I prefer the narrow stuff offered now, so I am wondering if I should stock up.

I'm just wondering what is going on with the corner rounder punch??? I'm not impressed with the 12x12 cardstock being offered in multi packs as CTMH 81/2x11 is that way and I hate it. If you want one specific color you have to order all of them in that pack.

Make a new wish list with current stuff! If you're signing up, you can only demo current stuff anyway...
