Hobby Lobby has Spellbinders on sale for 50% off....no coupon needed, and all single and packaged paper for 50% off as well. No limits that I could see, and my store was well stocked with the Spellbinders.
Hope this helps !

You are so right. I have been living under a rock. I've seen these dies for months, but I kept telling myself I didn't need/want them. But since I've been on the Just Rite and SC blogs, I gotta have them. I'm driving my husband crazy.
My faves are the regular ovals, the scalloped ovals and the deckled rectangles. Tonight I bought Labels 3. I have labels 1. I think they went a little freaky once they went past 3 labels. If you are going to invest on them, and have patience, buy one or two a month if you can afford it. You could ask our splitcoasters for advice, and just think of what you plan to do with them.
I'm also a marker and pen freak, as well as Stampin Up stuff. Can't sfford SU since I'm unemployed, but I'll eat soup for a few days to save up for special craft stuff.

Thanks for the information. My primary reason for purchasing the Spellbinders dies is for card making, but I also plan to use them for scrapbooking. I think they add a special touch.
Okay, since you mentioned makers. Which brand do you use? I've been looking at the Copic but they are so expensive.
I went to mine this afternoon and they still had quite a few I was able to get three of the flower sets I wanted and two labels. They had circles, rectangles and octogons left in both plain and scallop I was suprised they had so much left. Thanks again I am a Nestabilitie Believer!!
EDTA: If you call ahead they will tell you what they have and set them aside as long as you pick them up that day. At least at my store...
I've been to two Hobby Lobbies, buying Nestabilities. At both, if the ones I wanted were out of stock they offered a rain check to purchase them later at the 50% off price.

Good to know! Guess I'll be stopping at Hobby Lobby this week!

I only have one request if somebody could help me out: Could you pick one of those Hobby Lobbys up and move it over to near where I live? I think the closest is like 360 miles away.

Did you have to pay in advance? My HL offered me a rain check but told me I would have to pay for them that day. They couldn't tell me how long it might be before the store received the new shipment.

I'm in Ohio as well. I have rainchecks for the Spellbinders and I wasn't asked to prepay. I was told more than likely the items I want would be in on Monday of next week.

Thanks for letting me know that. I've never been asked to prepay for a raincheck at any store. I would think all Hobby Lobbys would have the same raincheck policy.

I got the scalloped rectangles and I had to prepay for them...
So have I been living under a rock? I've never had to prepay for raincheck items at any store I've shopped at. Now, if I special order something at my LSS then I'm required to prepay. I can understand that because the owner is ordering something that she doesn't ordinarily stock. But to prepay for a die at Hobby Lobby that they always carry? The clerk told me I had to prepay because the store didn't want to get stuck with a bunch of merchandise. I just don't understand prepaying if it's an item that they stock. Anyway, I sent HL an email asking about their raincheck policy. I'll let you know if I get a response.

my hobby lobby gave me a raincheck on two of the nesties that were out. I didn't have to prepay. The store called me when they were in. I have never heard of prepray at hobby lobby.
I had never heard of prepaying for a raincheck item either, I thought it was odd. This was the first time I had gotten a raincheck from Hobby Lobby. I would love to hear if you hear back from corporate about their policy!
I did not have to prepay, and I'm surprised you would. If it's an item they normally stock, it's not like they would be getting stuck with something.
They did call me when the item came in. I have another rain check for a different set.
I did hear back from corporate Hobby Lobby. I received an email from a lady in their Customer Service Department. She apologized for the lack of good customer service at the store I went to. She said she spoke to one of the co-managers and explained that "a raincheck guarantees the price of a specific item and does not require prepayment".
So in the future if I'm asked to prepay for a raincheck item, I'll ask them to contact their corporate office for an explanation of their raincheck policy.
The email I received from this individual was very apologetic and asked that I not judge all 400+ of their stores based on what happened at one store. I just wanted to let you all know what their raincheck policy is.

This is good to know! Next time I will be sure not to prepay for my item. Thanks for letting me know what they said!
