Default FLock??

Has anyone used Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock? If so do you like it?
Is there a difference between the older regular flocking and the velvet flock?

I don't like flocking that clumps together.

I have the doodlebug flock and I like it. It doesn't clump. I am not sure if there is a difference because I have never used the old flock. Hope this helps.

Thank you!
I have the other flock in black and white and I do not use it much at all because it does clump.

Have it, love it, use it!

It almost seems to be super fine flock, and that may be why it doesn't clump like some other brands

However, the clumping of the other brands hasn't been problematic for me . . .

You might try putting a silica (dessicant) pack inside the jar--there's always one or two in a box of new shoes, and if humidity or moisture is causing the clumping, that might alleviate it?

I'd call your LSS first and see if they have it in stock--always nice to support your LSS, UKWIM?, but, if they don't carry it, google: Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock

HTH,

I just tried some flock by We R Memorykeeper. It comes in 4x6 sheets, and sticks great on just about anything. They also have glitter foil sheets. I love it because there is NO mess. You rub the back side of the sheet with a popsicle stick and it only goes where you want it to go!

Love this stuff! I found it in an assorted "sampler" kind of pack at Hobby Lobby - used my 40% coupon and got it for around $15 I think. The bottles look tiny, but somehow once you dump it out of the bottle it expands like crazy - a little goes a looong way!

I tried my flock this weekend. I used the sticky strip from SU and it actually stuck pretty good! I also used a glue ink pen type "thingy" that I have since I needed it in a few tiny spots and that worked great too! So far.....so good with flocking! YEAH! I had a busy weekend but will have a photo session of what I accomplished tonight and will have it on my blog tomorrow! I hope you visit!
