Well, the insanity has finally peaked! I went to Marco's Papers retail location here in Dayton, and found black glossy cardstock. I had just been to a stamp camp where we used white glossy in several ways, so I just HAD TO HAVE the black, as well. ;) Now I'm looking at it and wondering why I spent hard-earned stamp money on it...
So, we see all the lovely and creative techniques with white glossy cardstock, how about BLACK glossy cardstock. You ladies are all creative and wonderful, how about a link to your cards using BLACK glossy cardstock?
I've never used glossy black but I woudl think that stamping in Versamark and using one of the mica powders (Perfect Pearls, Pearl-Ex etc) on there would probably look great, especially with background stamps or abstract swirly type designs.
I haven't tried this but I was thinking of stamping the SU Fifth Ave Rose or all the flowers in the set with Versa mark then use fine embosing powder in white or even other pastel colors & embossing. I think that would be a very elegant & beautiful card! Hmmmm...where can I get black glossy cs, I want to try this myself!?
