Default Glue pad & flock question?

I just saw a card in the gallery by EllenH. seen here:

Faux Velvet Ribbon by EllenH at Splitcoaststampers

Please forgive me if this has already been posted or asked....

What is the Tsukineko glue pad, and where do you get it? and please tell me what you can do with it (besides faux velvet ribbon) -- which BTW is fabulous!!!

I know a little bit about flock-- but I have only seen it in white. Does it come in colors?

please, please, please, ENABLE ME-- I really think this is cool! Thanks for sharing your tips!

Not sure about the pad. I have seen something about it here.

Flocking, SU once upon a time ago sold it in a rainbow of colors then they went to about three colors and now nothing. You never know with our lovely company what will come or go.

I have looked to see if I can find some and impressrubberstams has some in 4 colors, the directions they give is to use sticky powder. Of the links that I have that is the only one with any.

Good luck!

Here's a link about the Glue Pad.

I just got mine from my TAC angel. I live in KS (where they are based) and it arrived 2 days after I ordered it. Not too shabby!!

Don't know about the flock, but that's a really cool idea and card!! I have the stamp set and will definitely have to try that!

don't be fooled by other brands of glue pads. I had one in my hand today and read the directions and theirs said heat first! With the Essential glue pad, you don't have to heat it. I just wish our LSS would get on the ball and order them!

I went to my LSS yesterday and asked about this pad and the owner said she had ordered it twice and the company wasn't shipping any out because of quality control issues. I wonder if anyone has had any problems with it. Don't know what the quality problems are.

I bought mine at a LSS and love it! I haven't had any problems with it! I did just buy some flock from the 7 Kids ebay seller (see above post) - they have lots of great colors! I think 7 Kids sells SU paper "legally", because they only sell cut sheets - you can get the paper, but its been cut and assembled by them - you aren't buying packs of whole sheets.

Only demonstrators are contractually prohibited from selling current SU merchandise on ebay. Customers are free to sell without restriction. The product is also altered from its original form.
