Default Good (and cheap) source for chipboard

I am looking for chipboard to use with my Cuttlebug. Can anyone recommend a good, super cheap source for this?

Thanks!

I steal big thick coasters from local pubs.

A bit dishonest I admit, but cheap like borcht!

I get mine at www.scrapjazz.com the prices are reasonable and it comes in 4x6 sheets. I think they have 2 different sizes 6 for $2.69 or 25 for $3.99.

My local scrapbook store sells the ones that come with their paper for like .10 each. You might give one of your stores a call and see if do that or if they're in a good-hearted mood, maybe they'll just set some aside for you.

I use dickblick for PMC supplies, so I just checked their chipboard -- it says 'not archival' so I personally would not use theirs in my scrapbooks or anything else that needs to be long lasting!

I use mat board from my LSS - I paid $1.79 for a 16x19 sheet this week. One side is gray and the other side is black, but you can get it in all gray or in other colors.

I cut the mat into 4-inch strips to use in my Sizzix.

If you have a HL nearby, check for chipboard in their art department. That is where I find mine at a great price. You can also use your 40% off coupons if you like.

I can use chipboard in my Cuttlebug?!!! I'm so glad you asked that question ~ I had no idea! I love my CB more and more each day, and keep finding more uses...felt, acetate, and now chipboard! Anything else I should know about?

If you need a lot of it, some people on the Cricut messageboard get a 50 pack for 9.99 at Office Depot in the binding section. I haven't tried to find it in mine yet so I don't have a brand name.
