Thank you for the link. I have now ordered twice from them and everything is wonderful! I bought brads and buttons and glue. The shipping is fast and my grandkids love the little candies they pack in with the order.

So I tried this Mono Multi because I read so many great things about it--and I really didn't like it! What am I doing wrong??? It was very messy, it oozed out the sides ( I thought I only used a little bit), and my hands left prints everywhere I touched. So ladies who love it, what are the tricks of the Mono Multi usage?? Please share!
Here's what works for me. Using the thin-line tip, I run a very thin line of glue about 1/4 inch from all four edges of what I'm gluing. (If you run it really fast and squeeze lightly, you can get a really thin line.) If I get a blob of glue, I use the tip of the bottle (without squeezing) to drag the blob toward the center of the piece, away from the edge. Then I stick the piece down where I want it and smooth gently all the way around. If a little glue seeps out, I wipe it quickly away with my finger (then clean my finger on a wet wipe I always have handy). I've glued probable a hundred cards now and have messed up only one or two--and those not badly enough to trash them. The savings in adhesive is so, so worth it!
Okay, I've been using this stuff and love it .... but does this mean I can actually use WAY less than I do? I usually use the thick side and load up the whole card with glue ... lol ... note to self: cut down on glue and SAVE! Love it, thanks for the tip!

You definately do not need that much!
It really does smell good, too...I think I read that in the other post...it reminds me of Tattoo Goo, the ointment you get at the tattoo parlor!
Okay--I've got my order placed!! An even dozen--six for me, and six for my stampin' buddy who really NEEDS some, before the bottle I gave her runs out!
;)

I use a very thin line with the pointed side about an 1/8th of an inch in from the edge of the paper. Works great!
this is what I do too..I used the thick side for boxes I was putting together (my Easter ones) but found that I didn't need that much glue and they still held up great. people had a hard time opening the boxes with all the glue on the entire flap, with a thin line they didn't have as much of a problem. I used them for all my teacher totes and they held up super!

I paid 1.99 a bottle, which is the same as Penwa.com however, I only paid 3.85 for shipping, and over 25 dollars and shipping is free, this certainly beats penwa.com shipping for 7 dollars. The service at this store was very prompt, they did not charge my credit card until it shipped, and the package came priority mail, packed very well. I will most certainly be ordering from them again as this company met and exceeded my expectations of an online company! They have tons of other products as well. Check them out![/QUOTE]
I just got my order - had grat customer service - they helped me correct my mistake, before shipping, and the priority package was here in 3 days. Of course, I HAD to find a few other items to order in order to reach $25, for free shipping. Gives me a chance to try a few things I might have passed up.
Has anyone here ever used the Mono Aqua? It's a bigger tube/bottle, but instead of being both permanent & temporary, it's only permanent. I saw it here: http://www.penwa.com/tombow/aquaglue.htm
They also carry the Sakura Quickie Glue pen that JulieHRR raves about. If it's good enough for her Royal Rubberness, it's good enough for me! Also a good price on the Fiskars hand drill, which is handy for book making projects (and much cheaper than a Japanese punch).

I asked the same thing, and everyone who responded to me said it would warp the paper, and NOT to use it.
Thanks, Lynn & Kerilou....I definitely don't want it warping my paper!!
BTW, if y'all aren't already getting in on the deal, there's going to be a huge bulk order done by an SCS'er & right now we're getting enough monoadhesive to get the $1.96 price. All you'll have to pay in shipping is what it takes to get it from her to you! :-) Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I found that if I just put a small dot in each corner and a little squiggle in the middle of the paper (for layers etc only ~ heavy duty stuff I use the thin line) and it works great! I really have lengthened the amount of time it takes me to use up a bottle.
Question on mono multi--how long does it take to "dry" or set up--in other words, how long after layering is there a risk to slip? That is my only "holdout" on buying some--but this is a great price!!!
I got some Mono from TAC And I have used it from time to time. I have found that once you place in on your work. You can move it, But do it fast. Cause it will dry pretty fast. I like it for gluing on Prima Flowers it dries Clear and holds really good.
