OMG I'm so excited I just can't believe I got one!
My LSS just happen to have them so I jumped on it.
I love what Gina K. did with her cards and can't wait to give it a try. Boy, I really feel like I'm creating with the big fishes now.:p
That is awesome. Belated Birthday Wishes. Please let us know your experience in using it. I have been thinking about it and I was not sure if it was worth that much of money.
I am buying mine Wednesday night at Archivers along with a Bind It All. I am SO excited. I'm traveling on business so I called ahead and made sure that they had one and would put it on hold for me. I'm so excited too! You'll have to tell us how you like it!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the BDay wishes. Well I just now got a chance to open my Scor-Pal because I spent all afternoon with my family. My DH and son's gave me $300 to spend on art supplies! I just about feel on the floor when they gave it to me. So I decided to save the money to buy cabinets for my art room.
Anyway the Scor-Pal looks great it's very light weight not heavy at all. It just seemed to look heavy in pictures. What I also really like is the numbers are BIG. So you can see where your score lines are clearly. When you see it on line the numbers looked small to me and I thought I was going to have trouble reading them and not keeping the score lines straight. I hope that makes sense.
The score tool pops right out, you just press a little blue button and it releases the scorer.
I just scorded a card fold and all I can say I FANTASTIC!!! I could never get my cards to fold very well. The S-P is very smooth and the score tool just glides beautfully down the paper without jumping off the line. Everyone run and get a Scor-Pal even if you only use it for card folds. Love this so easy to use.
Well I've said enough for now.

Kimberly -
Happy B-day! That is awesome that your DH and kids gave you $300 just for supplies! For Christmas I got the same amount to build out my "studio". I got kitchen cabinets from Lowes and a countertop plus shelves to go above from Home Depot. You can see a pic of my space in my gallery. It turned out GREAT!
I highly recommend getting the kitchen cabinets vs the bathroom cabinets because they are taller and just the right hight to stand at or sit at. I have a drafting table chair at mine which is just the right hight. I use the drafting table as a cutting table for my sewing machine

Can't wait for you to tell us more about the Scor-Pal. I played with it at Archivers when they opened here, but I would love to know what others think too.
Have you seen the new carrying case for the Scor Pal? Wow is it nice! Sweet Diana at Scor Pal gifted me one because of all the soldier cards I do. I love it!
Happy Birthday!
netheadred thanks so much for sharing your craft space ideas. I didn't know there was a difference in the heights of kitchen verses bath cabinets. I would have just chosen what was on sale or the cheapest! I guess that's why I'm not a builder LOL. I'm going to go check everything out today and the cost. Thanks again.
I haven't had any time yet today to play with my new toy. Isn't that the way it always works. My brain is screaming at me it wants to play.
sprtchick that was really sweet of Diana and you did earn it because of all your hard and careing work. That carrying case is on my want list. Well one thing at a time I guess.
Hope you all have a very creative day,
Kimberly K.
