Default Inking uninked craft pads

I bought an uninked craft pad and a craft ink refill. Does anyone have any tips on inking the ink pad? I've never done it before so I want to make sure I do it correctly.

Thank you!

He loves it when his birthday falls on Thanksgiving. He was born the day before Thanksgiving. I thought (for some reason) that it would be cool to be in the hospital on Thanksgiving, but it wasn't. I missed having a nice home-cooked meal. The hospital food was not good!

I have a video on my website on how to ink an ink pad...in the video, I used a classic re-inker and pad, but the craft would work the same.
