I visited a few local stamp stores (and big box stores) throughout the week looking for Iridescent Ice and have no luk. Does anyone have a good online source where I can order? Thanks

JudiKins makes an embossing powder called Psychedelic which is similar to II. I purchased some at my local stamp store, but I'm sure you can find it online at many places.
THanks for all the replies. I did not realize it was a SU product. The funny thing, at one store I visited they told me they had sold out which had me believe it was a product readily available from stores.

Another option, I used the iridescent ice on my Christmas cards, and ran out half way thru, so I mixed regular embossing powder with dazzling diamonds glitter, used about 4 times more powder than glitter - worked perfect, and couldn't tell the difference between the two different cards.
A lot of Stampin Up branded items are not really Stampin Up created products, such as the table top cutter (Tonic) the Stamp-a-ma-jig (EK Success), SNAIL (Tombow), and the Big Shot (Sizzix). I have been wondering where I could find Iridescent Ice without having to pay the Stampin up mark-up. In fact, I just bought some so that I could take it around to find an alternative so that hopefully, I can buy it with a coupon. So I will try to find Psychedelic from Judikins. And it is good to know about the dazzling diamonds and embossing powder mixture. I haven't started looking for the alternative to dazzling diamonds yet. Maybe I'll pose that question when I need to purchase some more. Thanks for the info!

I do the same thing - I love the Stampin Up products, but if I can find the same thing elsewhere, cheaper, I totally take advantage of that. The Martha Stewart crystal fine glitter, is the same as dazzling diamonds, and it comes in a ginormous container for about $10, it has to be at least 8 times as much as what comes in the Stampin Up container, I just bought one from Michaels last week, when all the MS stuff was 30% off - it is made by EK Success - I'm not sure who makes the SU glitter, but I know they have other products made by EK Success. The size on the container is 4.58 oz/ 130 g - I couldn't find the size on my SU bottle.
I got a generic glitter embossing powder and it worked just fine. Make sure you get clear, because there are colored glitter EPs out there. LOVE that stuff!! Dazzling Diamond Dust is one of my favorite techniques, especially this time of year.

So is Dazzling Diamonds a glitter exclusive to SU?
This has me really intrigued. Maybe I'll get it all figured out before my Christmas projects next year.

Honestly, I am not sure  I have not seen the name Dazzling Diamonds on any other glitter around - but to me the Martha Stewart Ultra Fine glitter looks exactly the same - and I don't see a difference on my projects when comparing the two - which is good enough for me

Glitter by the name "Dazzling Diamonds" is exclusive to Stampin' Up!, and unless you are mass producing something or doing 50 cards with the diamond dust technique, our container will be enough to last you a good long time.
You would be amazed at how far that stuff goes. I made 30 Christmas cards using Iridescent Ice EP; I still have plenty left, and I have used it many times before.
Very true! I bought my container a few years ago, and did a class last year with the DDD technique. I still have about 1/4" left, but it's going on my next order for sure.

I am hanging my head in shame. Last night I was going through my stash of glitters, EPs, etc. I came across non other than Judikins Psychedelic EP. I did not even know I had this. Next time I order from SU I will add the II EP and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. A girl can never have too much bling.

Could you tell me the ratio of MS glitter to EP? Is it the same as DD to EP (4 powder to 1 glitter?)
Be sure to try and compare, though. I didn't have enough SU! clear embossing powder recently, so I used some other stuff I had--I was amazed at the difference. I had thought EP and glitter were all pretty much the same--just that different companies offered different colors, but that's not true, after all.
Good luck in your quest--or just wait for a SU! special (either from the company or your local demo).
