I am becoming disappointed in Pioneer glue stick which is what I've been using for a long time now to adhere cardstock and design paper to my cards. Lately, they don't seem to be adhering as well and cs is lifting off. Its too bad b/c it has been a cheap and readily available adhesive for me. I don't care for using runners on my cards b/c I don't find any that hold up over time and cardstock lifts up. What do you use, is it very cheap to use, how hard is it to get it and how well is it adhering dp and cs?
My favorite adhesive is Mono Multi glue. It's usually about $3.50 per bottle at JoAnns (my Michaels doesn't carry it) and you can use a 40% off coupon. The bottle last for ages - easily more than 50 cards with lots of layers. There is no rippling or buckling of your paper and it only takes a tiny bit. Emily (momtothreeboys) did a blurb about it on her blog. Let me see if I can find it for you.
I *SWEAR* by Mono Multi. It's a liquid glue so you do have to be careful how much you use. Don't want it seeping out or bubbling! I did mess up one card, but learned pretty quickly  You do have a second or two to adjust (i.e. straighten layers) but once it's set, it's SET. That's pretty much all I use now - other than glue dots for dimensional stuff!!
Designer Dries Clear Glue all the way for me! Be sure to use the metal tip so you use even less. It takes just the tiniest of teeny tiny dabs and that baby ain't goin' nowhere. Don't even ask me about the 150 Christmas cards I messed up for a business last year by putting the incorrect sentiment on the insde of the cards (on a layer). There was NO WAY that was coming off and I had to start over---grrrrr..... It's very economical because it stretches sooooo far!

I LOVE the 3M Scotch ATG with the 924 tape (non acid-free) or 908 (acid free). Its super cheap, and lasts a LONG time. The initial purchase is a little steep, but it definitely pays for itself in the long run.
I switch between Scotch Quick Dry & Mono Multi. Love them both, but mono allows me to "slide" my stuff around for a tiny bit longer than the quick dry.
I also love mono multi greem bottle and I buy it from penwa.com at 2.60 each. I buy 10 at a time and sell it to my friends. I made 65 xmas cards last year with at least 6 layers and 1 bottle was not even used up. A little definetly goes a long way. But don't get the mono aqua it's a blue this stuff warps your paper. Yuk darc
Well, the concensus seems to be the Mono Glue so I'm going to give that a try and also the Scotch Quick Dry too if I can find it. I never heard of the Designer Dries Clear glue...who sells that?
Thx for all your answers and Barb - thx for the link about info.
mono multi is great, check out www.scrapbookpal.com, cheaper pricing then penwa and shipping is free over $25. They have tons of other great stuff on the site too if you don't want to order $25 worth of glue.

Designer Dries Clear glue is Art Institute. TAC sells DDC, but I've seen it in "finer" LSSs too. It really is incredible stuff--I use it to glue paper to chipboard, wood, CDs, glue magnets, everything!!!

I use one called AdTech. I found it at WalMart and it is pretty reasonable. It is refillable and the refills are about $2 for two to the package. I do not do scrapbooks but I make cards and it does stick well. It is a permanent adhesive runner.

Where would I find this at Wal-Mart? Is it in the office supplies area or in scrapbooking? I used to use the Duck adhesive runner and my Wal-Mart no longer carries it. I'm a little aprehensive about switching to a glue, but that mono multi is sure getting a lot of great press in this thread!
Love love love Mono Multi! I have never used anything better and I've used a lot of glues. I have had the same bottle for about 7 months and that's with doing 1 or 2 cards a few times a week and a monthly stamp club with 10 cards. The best stuff EVER!!
