Default The Lunchbox Craze?

I am usually a little slow to 'get' the latest fad. It's lunchboxes now. What do you do with lunchboxes? I know you can keep cards in them, what else can you use them for? I've looked at many pictures and they are awesome! Just wondering more about the functions of altered lunchboxes.

I made one into a recipe card holder.

I saw an idea (in a mag, maybe online - can't remember) to turn it into a holder for annual school pictures. Make a separator for each school year K-12. I think I'm going to do that with my coluzzle file folder template.

I've seen lots of different ideas for the lunchboxes:
Recipes
Calendar
Monthly card holder
Scrapbook

Mine sits on top of my computer, I made it a scrapbook for my dog, a blue great dane.
People see it and come over and look at the pictures of Max as he grew from a 12 lbs puppy to the 175 lbs lap dog he has become.

I think the lunchboxes make a great container for a themed birthday present. You could put together a sleepover kit filled with nail polish, lotions, makeup, etc. for girls. You could decorate it for boys and fill it with rubber lizards, a magnifying glass, binoculars, etc. You could decorate it for a grown up and put fun things together for them as well.

I love these tins and think the presentation of them with a gift is very fun!

I'm going to use the one I got as a scrapbook for all the odd things I've kept that are important to me but don't fit in with how I do my traditional scrapbooks. I am excited because it will be my first scrapbooking effort that will really focus on me. (Sounds self-centred, but to date my SBs have focused on everyone else.)

I DID SOME FOR MY DD 11TH BRITHDAY PARTY. ALL HER GIRLFRIENDS GOT ONE AND INSIDE I PLACED JOURNALS, PENS, ADDRESS BOOKS, AND HAIR SCRUNCHIES. THE GIRLS JUST THOUGHT THEY WERE SO COOL.

Right now, www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com has an online class called "all boxed up". They are doing a family tree.
