I just found out about this club and missed out on the fall kit but did preorder the winter kit. Can't wait to see what is in it. For those of you who have preordered before, approximately when do they ship the kits? Will the winter kit be shipped in say Sept or October? I couldn't find this info on their website. Thanks.

They do not really seem to say when these kits ship. All of a sudden I will see a blog,( usually this lady's blog http://rosaswelt.blogspot.com/2009/0...-fall-kit.html ) that I subscribe to and she will have something about the kits shipping.

Magnolia are a rule unto themselves with the kits this year, summer was exceptionally late, fall only seemed to be available to order for less than 2 months and lots of people have missed it. Winter club will probably be despatched early/mid November.

Really, that late. I was thinking the lastest would be sometime in October so everyone would have time to make Christmas cards with them. Oh well, still can't wait to get my hands on these and see what I will get!
Has anyone already been charged for their Fall kit? This is the first time I ever ordered a kit (wish I would have known about them sooner) and it says that they charge immediately. I received a confirmation email after I placed my order, but have not yet seen a charge to my credit card yet and was wondering if this was normal.

I've been charged. Remember - it sometimes takes longer with charges for an overseas order.

I know I ordered on the last day it was available, but that was a week ago so I thought I would have seen the charge come through by now. I'm just worried that it somehow got lost in the system and I won't get the kit.

If you are really worried, just call the credit card company with their toll free number and ask if the card had been charged.
That is what I did for the Summer Kit. I never received an email from Magnolia, so I just called my credit card and they told me that the card had been charged. Very simple process, just get a "LIVE BODY," do not go the "automated system" route.

In fairness to Magnolia the fiasco over the summer kit was down to a computer failure and them not being able to rectify it quickly. I've had the last 5 or 6 kits and they've all been received within about 2 weeks from the start of despatch. Fall isnt a theme I use often enough to warrant a 2nd fall kit but I'll be ordering the winter kit a bit nearer to the cut off date.
I can understand that they had computer problems THIS time with the Summer Kit. I am certainly not as inflexible as that.
However, what I do not understand is why I never have received any responses from them, except for the confirmation for the Fall Kit.
AND I am talking about having done business with them for about 2 YEARS now. These inquiries were all about orders I placed for the stamps on the "regular" site and had nothing to do with the Stamp Club Kits.
I have never "pestered" them with emails, but I do not think that either an email telling a customer that the order has been shipped or an answer to to a customer's question as to whether or not the order has been shipped, is an unreasonable request. And again, I am talking about an email sent to them after a very reasonable length of time waiting for stamps to arrive.

I quite agree, that's not at all unreasonable. Magnolia has a horrendous reputation a few years back but they seemed to have sorted out a lot of the customer support issues but I guess not. Shame as their stamps are soo cute and the kit is possibly the best value one I know of.
When I look at the site, it says shipping could be more than what they 'quote'. Has anyone ever paid a lot more than what they say? And if so, what would be the norm for shipping?
I was charged for my kit right after I ordered (the next billing statement) and it was the amount that it said it would be.
Haven't seen the kit in my mailbox yet though.

I was charged when I ordered - no more has been added.

I'm waiting for this oh so cute kit too...
I had to ring them and send several emails to get my Summer Kit, hope I'll get this kit soon...
I'm also Curious to know about the other stamps of this collection.... didn't think that they would be "food theme" stamps, but I'm really glad of that... already have ideas about the way I'll use them!!
I'm so glad I ordered this time! I was so disappointed when I missed out on the summer kit, and I'm glad I'm getting this one, it's so cute!!! Perfect for those scrapbook pages of the kids helping grandma make cookies

I just got that email from Summer, too. It looks like there are still a few that I want, even with the kit. One can never have too many Tildas! Or Edwins!:-D

I missed out on the fall, but I did order the Winter/Christmas kit. By the sounds of it, I'll have probably forgotten all about it and it will be a nice surprise in the mail in a couple of months. I do hope it comes in time for Christmas cards and projects though!
