I just bought some of these for the first time. I will be playing with them tomorrow. Is there anything in particular that you are looking for? I'm going to try and make the lid a hinge and then cover it with DS paper and embellishments.

Can't wait to see how you hinge the door racechair! I've been trying to figure out how to make the doors stay put, they keep falling off.

I made some of these a couple of weeks ago. I didn't do any type of hinge.
The paper is 4x12 and @ 3.5 inches I cut into the paper 1 inch and used a reg hole punch at the end of the 1in cut this slides around the flag just perfect. Hope this helps!

I used Amanda's hints... but I ran across some more while looking through the gallery:

http://www.forloveofpaper.blogspot.com/

Look at her blog, she has pics and also instructions to print (look on the sidebar under "Tutorials & Instructions".

I used a piece of 1/2" wide Terrifically Tacky Tape (Red Line Tape is another name) to make a hinge on the bottom of the front piece. I left the red tape on the top side of the tape so it wouldn't be sticky. Then covered it with DP and ribbon. Seems to be working well.

My flags must be positioned differently. I only cut into the paper 3/8" and used SU!'s 1/2" circle punch at the end of the cut. This worked great for me.

I guess you have to play with it.
