Martha Stewart glitter, LOL -- getting a box for Xmas!
DH is out shopping and I called to give him the name of a perfume his mom wants to pick up, as well as the perfume that I want, LOL. He asked what I wanted from Mike/Joann's stores and I told him a gift card but wait, I also want... Martha Stewart glitter!!! Lots of different colors!!
LOL I don't know what came over me, but for some reason I was possessed by suddenly needing and wanting that glitter! I saw it at the store but couldn't buy it for myself that day, but hey it would make a great gift!!!
I can't wait to see my MIL face when I get excited about a box of bottles of glitter, LOL -- she just rolls her eyes when I ask for craft things.
Anyone use this? I remember she showcased it one day on her show and I just HAD to have it.
i am glad to hear that someone else besides me is besotted with martha's glitter -- i want ALL the colors -- lately everything i do has glitter involved - yesterday my son pointed out the fact that the cat is glittery -- and ya know, he is!! poor kitty ---

Artists are never understood!! ;) Your DH is such a sweetie to get what you truly want. Mine has always told me to go pick it out myself.. so I do.
MS had a 3 pk for Halloween and someone said the colors weren't sold separately in her regular stock. Also, she has a 3 pk now for Christmas w/ a bottle of glue included.
There have been a few threads here w/ some great info. on her glitter. I collected some of it as ref. when M's finally lifted the no coupon law on MS.
* MS Crystal Fine is most like SU! Dazzling Diamonds. Read closely cause there is also a Crystal Coarse. Of course, both would be useful. ;)
* MS Carrera Marble is white when used - on colored CS it looks like fine white sand. MS has other white looking (in the bottle) so if you want white on paper - not translucent - get the C. Marble.
* MS Onyx is true, solid black on paper not grayish or transparent black. I have it - its great!

There are many of us who would be thrilled with a box of glitter, lol! One year my mom bought me Tombow markers. Another year my husband bought me Prismacolor Pencils (the big box). Who knew that one day craft supplies would be more fun than a new pair of earrings?!

I do love glitter. I have the Art Institute Glitter but would love the MS glitter too. I like to use it on transparencies. Stamp on one side then color the back using the AI glue and glitter. The results are always beautiful.

I have about 8 bottles of the MS glitter. I LOVE glitter and it is so sparkly! I haven't actually used any of it yet but it looks really pretty on my shelf!!! LOL
