Default Marvy Mega Oval -- So disappointed

I've been waiting and waiting and finally found the Marvy mega oval punch to go inside my giga scallop oval. What a disappointment. They don't really line up at all and the mega oval looks more egg shaped than oval. I ended up trying to trim it with scissors and that made it even worse!

HAs anyone else found this? How do you make your smooth oval inside the giga scallop punch? Aaackkkk!

I've read the same complaint from someone else. I use my coluzzle.

Yep I have heard the same. I am hoping the Nestabilities oval set will be different.

A lot of the people that have both love the look they get when they are together. Check out the scallop oval samples in the gallery and you will see that a lot of them are not a perfect match but they look great!

Some still do not like the look, though. Hope you get something figured out.

What is a Nestabilities oval set and who is coming out with? And when are they coming out with it? Sounds like something all of us have been looking for!

I think I read a comment by JulieHHR about the same thing, which is why she said she uses her coluzzle instead. Can you return the punch? Maybe some constructive comments to the company are in order, too, if a lot of people are dissatisfied.

They are die cuts. Check out these 2 sites for details and wonderful projects made with them (they also sell them):

Nestabilities are by Spellbinders. They're concentric die cuts that can be used in most die cut machines. They are a new CHA Summer release and will soon be available. There has been a lot of talk of them on the boards and on several blogs. I think if you do a quick search on this board, you will find tons of information about them, including a lot of information from the design team members and owner. HTH!

I didn't buy the oval punch bcoz there was a discussion about it weeks ago how the ovals don't line up. I use coluzzle COMPANION oval for a perfect oval to nest inside the scallop oval.
