I use my "X" zyron or my tombow glue w/the green cap (dries clear). I am obssesed with these dies and stamps too. If you live in central Ill, Prairie Art Stamps carries them and will order anything you want. Great stamp store.
Why, oh why, did I read this thread? I never heard of the Memory Box and now that I saw their dies, I am craving them. The only problem, or not, is that there is no store near me that sells them. It seems that they do not sell online or only wholesale. Do all of you buy at stores? I did not see pricing either, and am afraid to imagine the prices....

I too just discovered Memory Box - saw some cards posted that had the branch, etc. - but I was confused when I went to the web site and discovered they don't sell online. So naturally I check the forums, and here's this whole thread about Memory Box. And now I know places to order from....fortunately and unfortunately. I already checked out Ellen Hutson and have signed up for their e-mails. There are so many neat dies....I don't know where to start! Maybe this will pass...but we all know it won't. Anyway, thanks to everyone for all this info.
I got an email from Crop Stop yesterday. They are carrying Memory Box dies, now too. The site is cropstop.com and if you sign up for their emails you get a 10% off coupon in the first email and occasional 10% off coupons in other emails.

Oh my friend,it will get real bad, trust me. As soon as iI get my order from my LSS, I order more. am on the website daily drooling and oogling. I just love them. Some I have had a couple months and haven't even used them, but just like looking at them. I need Memory Box rehab!
My Madison Window dies just arrived today and I can't wait to go to my craft cave and play with them. They're from Poppystamps which is a subsidiary of Memory Box. :-) :-)

I use the platform, both tabs, acrylic plate, paper, die cut face down, acrylic plate on all my memory box dies and have had no problem. I do run the dies through at least twice and up to four times on intricate dies to make sure everything gets cut. HTH

That's what I do too. Basically the same sandwich as for the Nesties. I know some cut with the dies face up but I cut with the cutting side down, just so I can be consistent and not cut into my less beat off acrylic plate so I can make those last longer :shock:

Please help! what is the sandwich recipe for cutting and embossing with Memory Box dies? I have a Cuttlebug and a Vagabond. I also have the soft embossing pad. But, how do I use it?! Please help and thank you.
I use the thick A plate on the bottom, as always, then a B plate, the cardstock, the die- cutting side down against the cardstock-, then the C plate. Sometimes (often) it is necessary to use a special metal plate (purchased separately) on top of the pile in order to cut the intricate patterns of some of the dies. Also, I find it really helps to use a sheet of waxed paper between the cardstock & the die. And toothpicks are invaluable to push the pieces out of the dies. I absolutely love Memory Box dies and use them frequently. Have fun !
I have a very large collection of wafer dies....... My most frequently used dies are stored on homemade magnet 4 x 8 cards and hung on a small footprint retail bling rack. My dies with matching stamp sets are stored in the brown Tim Holtz binders. My seasonal dies (Christmas, Halloween) are stored in the Artbin cases. Nestabilities are stored on 12 x 12 magnet sheets in the Bento Box storage by Rubber Maid. I purchase the magnet vent sheets from Home Depot and cut and mount the magnet sheets on leftover framing matboard, which is stiff enough to keep the dies in place.
