Default Mod Podge

I am new to mod podge. I have only used it to cover lunch tins. I want to cover wooden box with patterned paper. Does anyone know if you can use the plain Mod Podge w/ the yellow label? They make so many different kinds of Mod Podge, so I am sure they have one for wood, but since I bought a huge bottle, if I can use what I have, I'd be thrilled. Anyone out there know??

Yes, it will work. I've used it on wooden cigar boxes and didn't even try to get the "varnish" off before covering it. I had no problem at all.
