Default Great thread!

this is a great thread! i've been a bit mystified by how people attach ribbons (didn't realize holes were punched to thread the ribbon through--duh!). this is very helpful. thanks!

Awesome thread. This is what I've been looking for. However, When attaching ribbon to the inside of the card, such as in this link:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
What to do with the ribbon end on the inside. Do you concern yourself with the look of the tail on the inside of the card?

Just discovered this thread through a blog. It's great so I thought I'd give it a bump to the top since it hasn't been accessed for a while. I just bought a whole lot of ribbon to play with.

Yeah, it's an old thread and it's been fun reading it. It goes back TWO YEARS! It's funny because some of what was suggested was really a "hot" way to do things for a while but now no one really does that way anymore. Fun stuff!

this is a gread thread - don't know if this has been said on here but the ways I attach ribbon is with glue dots, run a piece through the xyron or sew on.

How 'bout ribbon for your motif itself? I tried it for an easy bouquet:
