Default Nesstabilities and cuttlebug?

Hello. I have a cuttlebug and was going to order a set of the nesstabilities that I keep seeing on here. Do I need any kind of a spacer or anything to make them work with my cuttlebug?

You'll probably need to purchase a C plate. I don't believe this comes with the original CB set up. If you decide to do some embossing, you'll want the rubber mat. Otherwise you would use the A plate, C plate, die cutting side up, card stock and B plate. Be forewared that your plate will "etch" from the die when you cut with the machine. ;)

I just bought a new Bug yesterday at Mike's and mine came with a "C" spacer. If you want to emboss, try using red rubber gasket material that you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot in the plumbing section. It is cheaper and works just the same as purchasing the embossing mat from Spellbinders.

Hope this helps! I love my Bug with the Nesties! Now to find a new home for my Wizard.

The Cuttlebug comes with all the plates you need for cutting and embossing.

If you use Nestabilities and some other kinds of products not specifically made for Cuttlebug, you will need an extra mat to emboss.

Spellbinders sells a tan mat made especially for Nesties, but you can also get good results with a red plumbers gasket sheet that you can buy at Home Depot or other hardware stores.

Here's my favorite tutorial by GinaK about using the Nesties in the Bug:
