Yes, I actually tried Cutathome, but by the time I added their posatge I found a set of large scalloped ovals on Ebay that I got for $15.50 US with $5.50 postage. I think Cutathome's postage was quite a bit more than that. They still cost me about $31 AUD but I didn't think that too bad and I have not had a lot of trouble with Ebay. Some sellers on Ebay though ask $25 postage to Australia for one set of nesties, which is a rip off! Oh My Crafts for instance will send me 4 Cuttlebug items for $7, which is good.
Thank you so much for this thread! I thought for sure I had ruined both my cuttlebug and my spellbinder dies! It is really unsettling when you have to pry the die from the mat. I hope now with all this help things will go better.
How-To
Cutting Sandwich - (Stack from bottom up)
1. A plate
2. C plate
3. Spellbinders die face up (rough side up)
4. Paper or cardstock
5. B plate
Run through Cuttlebug machine.
Embossing Spellbinders Dies in the Cuttlebug- (Stack from bottom up)
1. A plate
2. B plate
3. Die face up (with die cut (cardstock) still in die)[COLOR=black][FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']
4. 3 pieces of cardstock
5. 1 Spellbinders tan polymer mat
6. 2nd B plate
I've been using this recipie with no problems at all, except I used both tan mats instead of extra cardstock. I tried to use a layer of the cheap craft foam instead of the mats to to do the embossing, but it didn't work. I had to order the mats.

dont forget to check www.ritzcamera.com for nesties...they are usually 15.89 - 16.65 and shipping is soo reasonalble and free after some amount..not sure which. I have ordered more than 25 sets from ritz. They have the new releases for these prices too! Very happy customer and ususally only 3-4 days from date of order to receipt of product.

the problem i have with the nestabilities is after i do my cut when i go to do my embossing, the cut paper wont stay in my die and falls out, when i put it back in i can't get it to firmly stay, then when i emboss it shifts, it is really ticking me off, there fore i haven't used my nestabilities, anyone help me ?
No, I don't know why some don't stay in the die. I've never had the problem, but I had read about it previously on the Yahoo Spellbinder's forum. So you're not the first...
There is a method where you can cut and emboss at the same time. I have the "sandwich recipe" at home, but not here with me. I'll try to look for it tonight and post it tomorrow unless someone else has it handy and can post it before that. It works great!
I learned a trick that will cut and emboss at the same time in your Cuttlebug with your nesties! It is the only method I use now and it saves times.
Save all your chipboard (like cereal boxes, or the cardboard that come on the backs of stickers or backs of paperpack...etc). I am lucky...at work I have EVERYONE saving them for me so I have quite a stack saved up. I cut them down to a little bigger then what I need as I need them.
I am going to give you the sandwich starting at the bottom.
A plate (the big thick white plate)
C plate goes next
Your nestie is next but the cutting edge faces UP
Your cardstock
Piece of chipboard large enough to cover the nestie
B plate
Run that through your Cuttlebug and voila! You have just cut and embossed your cardstock
HINT: I use 2 very small pieces of blue painters tape to hold the nestie in place especially if I have an image and I want to be careful where to cut. Once you put your nestie down and cardstock on top you can't see where it is cutting. The tape holds it in place before I put my nestie and cardstock down. I use the painters tape because it comes off easy
I'm just about to purchase the Cuttlebug machine. Did anyone go to the Tinley Park Scrapbook Expo earlier this month in Illinois? It was great. My time was limited though. I wanted to sit down and make a card in which the the lady from Stamp On It used the Nestabilities and an embossing folder. I sure would like to know how she did it all in one card. It was beautiful. ShelleyD before you purchase a Cuttlebug, consider the direction your die cutting may go. I bought a Quickutz Revolution because all I had were QK dies. Then I branched out into the CB dies and they wouldn't work in the Revolution. So, I bought a CB. I needed to use Sizzix Big Shot dies for projects I made for my son's wedding. You guessed it, I had to buy a Big Shot. To save yourself some money and space, just decide whether you might expand your die cutting into using the larger Big Shot dies before you buy. Don't get me wrong, I loved my CB until I couldn't use it for everything anymore. Now I use my Big Shot for all of my die cutting.
ShelleyD & Mkfouche I use my CB with the Sizzix Big Shot dies & have no problems. I just follow the sandwich instructions I found here on SCS. Sorry I do not have the link any longer but I'm sure you can find it if you do a search.
Subbing since I have ordered a CB and it should be here on or before the 16th...WooHoo! Can't wait to play. Interested in the nesties, but want to learn all I can before jumping in and investing in them. Just wondering which ones are your favorite sets to use in your bugs? I'm mostly interested in the scalloped circles and square sets I think, but I like the labels as well.

I have the sets of scalloped ovals, rectangles, and circles and the plain ones to match. They are the larger scallop though and in hindsite I wish I had bought the "petite" scallop. For the cards I make I think I would like the daintier look of the petite. But of course as I have them I do I use the ones I have a lot, but have the petite sets on my wish list. So just think carefully about it before you order. Also I find I use the ovals and rectangles more than the circles. I made quite a few Xmas card embellishments yesterday, ( 3D or paper tole) and mounted them on a nestie cut out of red or green foil card, and then put on to a larger nesties cut with gold or silver foil card. Just have to get around to actually putting them on to cards etc!

Die placement instructional video
Hi everyone. I have just created a video showing how to get exact placement of your Spellbinders Nestabilities die on your stamped image. I haven't seen anyone else do it this way. I hope you will check it out and tell me what you think.
So far I haven't found anything that I can't use with my Cuttlebug. There is a matchbox die I'd like to have from Stampin Up and I'm not sure if that will work.

I am also curious about the Stampin' Up Matchbook die with the Cuttlebug? Since it is a long die, are there special plates you need since the Sizzix ones are too wide for the Cuttlebug?
**actually I have gotten my cuttlebug to work with the matchbox die using the extended pads made by Cuttlebug (just google).
Using the extended C pad with a few additional chipboard 'shims' (make sure they're as long as the die itself) in there to ensure you also get the creases where the folds for the matchbox would be. the die is actually sort of hard to line up b/c the parts of the matchbox are VERY close together.

I liked your tutorial Karen. I actually always just directly tape the Nestie down over the image with the blue painter's tape and always find that works OK. Love your idea of numbering the dies, maybe that way I could remember (or record) which ones I use for particular stamps.

Okay here is another way of doing this that I learned.I had read here that magnetic vent covers can be used to keep your nesties in place so they dont slide around on your c plate and no taping down.
I got some magnetic vent covers from Home depot in the U.S. when I was there and I used the same sandwich as you EXCEPT I placed the ( very thin spongy) magnetic vent cover on top pf my C plate and did the same as you for the rest. Voila! what came out but a cut AND embossed piece using my cuttlebug. The magnet holds the nestie in place and because it is soft it acts like the tan mat which I was using previously.
