Default Nestabilities Eyelet Circles

I just got these dies and just tried them out, love them with one exception. Each time you cut an image/emboss you have to poke out all the little circles from the eyelet holes out of the die with a pin. Not a huge deal but a bit of a pain. Love the look of them.

Try tapping them on the side of your work table, they usually fall out...makes a mess on the floor, but until my project is done everything is a mess anyway!

Thanks for letting me know about these new cute eyelet circles. I just dashed off to ebay and ordered a set. I love how they look, too.

Punching out the little bits in the holes won't bother me. I already do that with my Papertrey eyelet border die, so I've got the system down!

try putting a piece of wax paper on the top of paper then add the die. Wax paper should help it cut better.

I'm so excited to have the circle and square eyelet dies! I will say the one thing that disappointed me a little bit was that the smallest of the 4 dies in each set doesn't have the little holes; it just embosses little bumps where the holes should be. I understand why -- since the die is small, the holes probably wouldn't come out correctly, but it still disappoints me a little.

Maybe you can use a paper piercer tool to punch little holes where the bumps are. I already do that sometimes with my regular scallop nesties and it's a nice effect.

Hey Bugga -

You mention the Papertrey eyelet border. Since you'll soon have both, you'll have to give us your thoughts on how well the two work together. Maybe even a pic? Pleeeaaasseee?

I can always use another reason to go put in a Papertrey order!

Well, I'll be happy to do that! But I have to wait a few days to get the eyelet circles that I just ordered.

I have used the eyelet border die so much and just love it. I know I'll love the circle eyelet nesties, too.

Ahem...to further enable you, I also have both sizes of the rick rac dies from PTI and love them a bunch also.

LOL, Kim! I do this also. If there are still some stuck in there, I keep a push pin nearby so that I can pop them out. But usually the tapping works. My hubby always has a comment about the mess!

I tried to tap them out but wasn't successful, they are jammed in there, the only way to get them out is with a pin.
