Default Nestabilities question - very basic Q!!!

I love the nestabilities and all the projects you ladies have made. I've never seen them or used them IRL. What cutting machines do you use to cut and emboss the nestabilities? I can't wait to put these on my birthday list. Thanks!

I use the Cuttlebug. I have tried it in the Big Shot, but find it so much easier to run through the Cuttlebug (thanks to a sandwich recipe that was posted last week) - and I get better results.

Okay, I have been intrigued by the idea of Nestabilities but have a question about the embossing part. Can they be used just to cut out the shape without embossing it? Also what is the sandwich recipe mentioned in the other post?

I happened to already have the Zip e mate and they work fine with that.

I found out through another thread that cutting and embossing appear to be two separate applications. that's good to know. Is there someone out there who could direct me to how to use them with a Cuttlebug?

Here's a link to a video I did. I was using a shaped Spellbinders die, but the nesties work the same.

I actually use my Revolution with my nesties, but I am considering getting a Wizard.

Hello Stampininva!

Spellbinders has been around for almost 4 years, Spellbinders was the first company to create UNIVERSAL DIE CUTTING PRODUCTS....The wizard and the dies are universal and backwards compatible with other manufactures products.

My goal from day one was to create beautiful dies that would cut emboss and stencil! giving us all more creative options.......another goal for Spellbinders was to enable people to use & enjoy Spellbinders dies no matter what machine you have.

Spellbinders dies were created for the Wizard and now the Xcalibur Cutting & embossing machines.....
however, I can assure you that you can use Spellbinders Nestabilities as well as all the Spellbinders dies in most of the leading die cutting machines.

Here is a listing of the different machines that you may use to CUT -EMBOSS AND STENCIL with Spellbinders Dies.....

The Wizard By Spellbinders
The New Xcalibur Motorized Cutting & Embossing machine ( comming fall 200
Big Shot by Ellison
Big Kick by Sizzix
Cuttlebug by Provocraft
Revolution by Quickutz
and even the Zip E mate by Accucut......

They all work perfectly fine with Spellbinders Dies. I have created specific sandwiches for each machine and I know for certain that they all work, I demonstrate with all the machines at consumer shows across the US. We recently completed an instructional DVD that will be available soon for all of you to follow along with. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.

Hugs
& Smiles

Please tell me which sets of Nestabilities are absolutely the most useful ones to own. I only want to purchase perhaps 2 sets of them but don't know which ones to get. I have the SU scalloped punch already and a couple of the Marvy larger, medium punches but have heard soooo much about the Nesties I would like to get some. Thank you.

I find I use the circles most often. But then again, I don't have the ovals and am constantly wanting to reach for them!
