I recently got some birthday money and I'm torn between buying a set of Nestabilities or getting a Scor-Pal. I know they are two totally different products, but I just don't know what I would get more use out of. Any feedback you could provide to help me make my decision would be appreciated.
I own both, but I think that the nesties are the better investment. You can get a great fold just by using your bone folder. I know that it's not quite the same crease as the score-pal makes, but you CAN fold the card yourself. The nesties are something that you couldn't do yourself... at least not easily!
Both were recently on my wish list, and I decided to go with a set of Nestabilities. I'm capable of scoring stuff without a Scor-pal, even if it's not nearly as easy, but I really have no other way of cutting a scalloped square or rectangle. I'm very happy with my Nesties!
I voted for the Nesties. While the Scor-Pal is great for scoring, you can always score without it. The Nesties are awesome and I use them on most of my cards now.

I agree. I have them both and they are both awesome products but I would recommend getting the Nesties first and then the Scor-pal later.

I don't own a Scor-Pal (yet!), but I do have the Nestibilities and I use them on just about every card that I make! I LOVE them and consider them and my Big Shot among my best craft-related purchases (right up there with all the SU! ink, cardstock and ribbon)!

I love the score pal. It is so easy to use. I did 30 bagalopes yesterday. With the score pal it was a breeze. I love my nestabilities as well, but I consider them a want and the score pal feels a great need.
I must admit that I've been leaning towards the Nesties and the poll shows that the Nesties are winning. I think that if I go with the Nesties, I'll make the rectangle set my first purchase. Oh why can't I be independently wealthy and have it all ;)

I got the Nesties first and have to say that it was money well spent! I used the Ucutathome coupon and got the complete set of each shape for $57 including postage. Can't beat that price! I just got a Scor-pal and she and I are not on a first name basis, but soon...very soon!

Enjoy whatever you end up choosing!
Sorry for the slight hijack, but when you say you "got a complete set of each shape for $57", what exactly are you referring to. I know that couldn't be circles, squares, ovals, and rectangles, so I'm curious. I want to get the best possible deal with my 40% coupon.

Just go to www.ucutathome.com and you can sign up for it on the home page. They send the code in an email almost immediately.
I just tried it and it works as advertised. Most things on their site aren't eligible for the discount, but the Spellbinderstuff is. Thanks for the tip!
