Default New Cricut Cartridges email I got today!!!

Hi.. I got home this afternoon to find this wonderful email in my inbox.. I am excited because I was going to email Kim today to ask about ordering some mats. Pam

As many of you have heard the new cartridges are being released. (I heard from my account specialist that Disney characters are still in the works!) I should be getting the new cartridges the first couple of weeks in October. In order to get enough for everyone I have decided to take preorders. In order to save a lot of back and forth emails between us please follow my instructions and I will ship your cartridges as soon as they are available.

BANK FUNDED PAYPAL: If you are paying by bank account funded paypal, please send the number and cartridge name in the "note" area of paypal along with $55 for each cartridge and $4.50 shipping for every 2 cartridges to [email protected] If you get all 6 cartridges send $338.50 and you can just put "all 6" in the "note" portion of paypal. If you live outside of the US send $9.50 shipping for every 2 cartridges.

CREDIT CARD FUNDED PAYPAL: If you are paying by credit funded paypal, please send the number and cartridge name in the "note" area of paypal along with $57 for each cartridge and $4.50 for every 2 cartridges you buy to [email protected] If you are unsure of which paypal to use, use this one. If you are buying all 6 send $350.50 and put "all 6" in the "note" area of paypal. If you are outside of the US change the shipping to $9.50 for every 2 cartridges you get.

CHECK OR MO: Send $55 plus $4.50 (9.50 outside of the US) shipping for every two cartridges you order and a note listing the item name and number of each item you wish to order. If you are ordering all 6 send $338.50 and you can just put "All 6" on your note to:

Kim Slaymaker 12785 Timpview Dr, Riverton, UT 84065

To view the new cartridges visit www.provocraft.com, click on cricut and then cartridges. They are absolutely adorable!!

The following are the new cartridges...

29-0222 New Arrival (darling baby stuff)

29-0223 Walk in Garden (flowers etc)

29-0224 Paper Pups (just dogs)

29-0225 Zoo Balloo (a font with animals on the letters)

29-0226 Printing Press (a typewriting font)

29-0027 Opposites Attract (another fun font designed by Rob & Bob)

Thank You!

Do you like your cricut?
Do you find it worth the money?
Do you find it cuts cardstock without going through too many blades?

I went to a demo at Michaels and the salesperson was not really recommending it. She prefers the Sizzlets. I found this odd for a person doing a demo.

I am planning to attend another cricut demo next week being hosted by a provocraft rep. They are offering a special price that night so I was curious about how someone feels who already has one.

Love it, Love it, Love it. I use it lots when I prepare for my Workshops using the squares and letters for Scrapbook layouts. I love it. I did not really have a good experience at Michael's from an employee but I am so glad I bought it anyway. Good Luck.

I love mine... I am still using the same blade that I first put in it. Cuts Stampin' UP! card stock without a problem. I do think that Kim might be carrying the machines for under $200 here soon ~ drop her a line to see.

This is the first time I have heard of Kim. Does she have all of the "old" cartridges too? Is there a website I can look at, or should I just follow the directions you put in the OP for any cartridges I want? Thanks for the posting! I'm so excited to find a place with discounted cartridges! I'm still stuck with only George!

Thanks!

I don't think you can actually get them early- just preordering for when she does get them in. As for why they're so cheap- I have no idea! I just ran across this for the first time.

As far as I know, Kim has all of them ~ I had to reread her email last night because I thought they were new now... I'll wait til they are available and get the one I really want which is the Opposites attract. I went to the site and looked at all the new ones... so nice. I have a Doodletype cartridge that I got with mine as a special deal with QVC.

Pam,

Thanks for the info. I really like that Doodletype cartridge, but I had already ordered my Cricut from JoAnn's with the 50% off coupon before the QVC one came out. =( Now, is there any way to get the Doodletype alone besides ebay?

Thanks,

Who is Kim and what is her contact information? Does she have a website? If anyone does not have the Tags, Boxes and Bag cartridge, you would love it. If you make some of the boxes and bags at 5.5 inches, you can easily fit the 3x3 cards and envelpes in them. I do think that I would like to get some of the new ones but I would hate to pay full price. I was lucky and got my machine, cartridges and accessories using coupons before they stopped allowing it.

Ummmmm........I don't have a Cricut but I sure wouldn't buy from a random email sent to me. I'd do a whole lot of checking before I sent any money to her Paypal account. Why would anybody need 2 different Paypal accounts?

To all of you ladies that just love your Cricut. My mom bought one and I got her a couple of cartridges. The first few cuts were great! But after that I'm finding that the blade is constantly tearing the paper and I'm just using paper which should be easier to cut than card stock. Any advice? She and I are beginning to think this wasn't worth the money - 40% off or not. Thanks!

I originally found Kim on the QVC message board and then read about her on the Cricut message boards too. I have bought several things from her and have received my items within days of payment. Since Paypal has different kinds of accounts (ones that charge to receive forms of payments) that she might have them set up seperately that way.

I only ordered from Kim after reading many, many posts about others that were very satisfied with their transactions.

I have had great communcations with Kim too ~ she seems like a really nice person.

Paypal has different types of accounts and if you want to accept money from Paypal accounts or bank transfers only there is no fee. But if you want to accept credit card charges then ALL of your transactions are charged a fee. By having seperate accounts she doesn't have to charge everyone the extra fee (see OP) only those who want to use a credit card. :-)

Have you tried adjusting the pressure wheel? I read a thread on the Cricut website about a problem like this so you might want to do a search there. It seemed that the pressure needed to be adjusted. HTH!
