Organizing/Storing Cuttlebug Dies and Embossing Folders
I was wondering what everyone else uses to organize/store their cuttlebug dies and embossing folders. I purchased a Small Sterlite 3 drawer container to put mine in for the time being. However, I just figured that someone out there would have a better solution. If so, please share and post any pictures that you may have.
I store mine in page protectors in a 3 ring binder. The small dies and embossing folders fit in trading card size page protectors (9 to a page), and the larger embossing folders fit photo-size pages which have two places.
I got the page protectors at Office Depot.
The trading card size sheets are also great for storing the $1 clear stamp sets by Studio G.

I just got my CB binder and inserts a few days ago and love it! It's heavy duty and the inserts that you purchase for the different size folders and dies are very durable and the perfect size. I would highly recommend it! Can't wait to try out my new paisley and swiss dot folders. hth!
I also have the new CB binder. It is very sturdy and has lots of room for refill pages. Previously, I was using an altered lunch tin, but this is so much better. Well worth the money.

Thanks everyone for your information. I did check out the cuttlebug binder and ordered it as well as the sheets to hold the dies/folders. I also had not seen the new embossing folders. They look great. I especially like the Floral Fantasy, Alegro, and Perfectly Paisleys ones, but Birds and Florals and Swiss Dots are not bad either. I didn't order those yet, but they are on my list for next purchases !!
Question about the new cuttlebug binder and sheets.
On another post someone said that you can't put more than 7 pages total in the binder.
If you have the binder could you give your opinion? I know I would fill
more than 7 pages. I was thinking I could get the sheets and just use
a 3 ring binder that would hold more but the pictures show it as only a
2 ring size.

I just ordered my binder, and do not have it yet. However, I read on the website the desciption of the product. It said that the binder would hold 30 pages. I will let you know more when I get mine and put my pages in it.
I have mine stored in hinged top boxes from J's. They're on sale for 50% off. The Folders fit in the large boxes and my sizzlits (don't have 2x2's yet but I'm sure they'd probably fit the same) in the small ones. The lrg box is 4.99 and I believe the sm is 2.99. Sorry the pic isn't the greatest.
I bought 2 of the cuttlebug storage binders. One I am using for just alphabets, and the other for the rest of my dies and embossing folders. This way I have room for more pages in both. My friend traveled to where there was a store carrying these, and we got every piece for 40% off, and I am really pleased with these binders!

I ordered the inserts, but not the binder...
The inserts are very neat - make everything so easy to see and flip through, especially now that I have collected so many embossing folders.
I was *hoping* I could put them in a normal 3 ring binder (it doesn't work).
So now I guess I am going to need to spring for the binder.... hmph.

Mine are in baseball card protecter sheets and picture protecter sheets that I bought at Staples and in a 3-ring binder along with my unmounted stamps.
I store my cuttlebug stuff in a 3-ring binder of pages I bought from Haylie-Jo at her Crop Stop Shop. Different types of pages hold alphabets, a2 embossing folders, 2x2s, 3x3s and more. I've even started storing all those brass stencils in those pages, too. Now I need to locate another empty binder ..... By the way - she also has some instructional videos for sandwiching.
I like the idea of baseball card holders for the smaller dies/folders. Since I do ATCs, I already have those. All I would need are some of the larger ones for the A2 embossing folders. Thank you for the it-should-have-been-obvious suggestion.

This is how I store mine as well. I got a cute binder at Wal-Mart as well as the insert pages. The baseball card size inserts are in the office supply section and the photo pages are in the scrapbook/photo albumn section.
Works fabulously!

I store mine in smiliar boxes but mine are plain white. I have the larger one (CD Box) for the Cuttlebug and have the dividers in it for different categories such as backgrounds, holidays, flowers, words, etc. The smaller box is used for all of my "clear" $ stamp sets for Michaels and I have them all divided by "type" as well....it has worked out very well
I made a box, took me most of the night but it was fun! I cut down the original packaging to use as index/divider cards. The dies, I cut the top of the plastic open and put the plastic back on the card, so the dies stay in their places. I might however have to go to a bigger box as I now store my Nestablities CD cases in there too and have five more folders coming. See the box I made at: CuttleBug Accessories box by LindaF409 at Splitcoaststampers I love having the rope handle for carrying my accessories to gatherings.

Correction!
I punched holes in the CB inserts with a 3-hole punch on the long side of them and it worked perfectly - now they all fit in a 3 ring binder!
Awesome.
I cannot find the 2-to-a-page photo sheet protectors or I would have used those~

Since I posted in Feb. I bought the binder and I have 5 pages in it and it is
straining at the zipper. I can't imagine putting in the amount of full sheets that they say it will hold. Maybe they (PC) put 30 pages in it with out putting any folders or dies in the pages.
Ireland, Do you have any problem with the dies and folders falling out when
you put them in the 3 ring binder?
Who has the binder and how many full pages have you been able to put in it?
I have the binder with 8 full pages and about 5 empty pages in it...it is a tight fit. I can't imagine it fitting any more "full" pages in it as of now. I thought maybe I would just get another binder and separate by maybe embossing folders in one and dies in another. I still like this type of organization because I can see what I need at a glance. (Even though I will probably need another binder)
I have been collecting my folders and dies for a year and a half, since the CB came out, so you can imagine that I have A LOT of them! I started out using the CropInStyle Paper Sticker Binder with baseball card pages to store them and I hated it. Every time I would turn a page the smaller folders and dies would come flying out. I was quickly outgrowing it, too. The zipper was straining. I recently picked up some mesh stainless steel drawer organizers at Walmart for about $3.00 each. They're 3 X 12. I have one for my small folders and one for my 2 X 2 dies. Neat and easy to use with room to spare. I keep my A2 folders in a mesh stainless CD holder from Target - it holds them all plus the spacer and cutting plates and my Fiskars and Sissix Texture plates. I am very pleased with this storage solution and I wish I had gone with it in the first place!

No - the folders fit very tightly and nothing moves! Love it~~
Love that I can use a standard binder, too, instead of a specialty one.

Ireland, can you post a picture? I have liked the binder because I have
been taking it to Cricut club, and don't have to worry about losing anything, but I hate to have to buy more binders in time.
