I like them all..but even if I didn't I would get them all anyway. I have an issue with "complete sets"...anyone else like that??
Well, no I can see complete sets of collector's items - like china, books, etc. But paper? I don't buy it unless I'm planning to use it. That way I have more money for the things I will use!
I'm looking forward to seeing the colours "in person" and then deciding if I need them or not ...right now they do look so similar to other colours we already have (and CC) ...
Just looked at these and something seemed really familiar to me and then it hit me.....
Purely Pomegranate looks like the old Marvelous Magenta
Groovy Guava looks like Cameo Coral
Bayou Blue looks like Buckaroo Blue
River Rock looks like Sahara Sand
Soft Sky looks like a soft Brocade Blue or Bashful Blue
Looks like we are getting repeats, so (insert BIG WHINE HERE)....WHY CAN'T WE JUST KEEP COOL CARIBBEAN?!?! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?!!!!!
Ok, done for now! LOLOLOL *Big cheezer grin*

We got a presentation on the colors at our monthly training meeting from the folks that went on the cruise. My sideline said that Pomegranate actually is a sort of raspberry color, and the Guava is a really bright peach that she compared to the sweater set I was wearing that night. It would probably make a great Dynamic Duo with Apricot Appeal, sort of like Cool Caribbean goes with Taken with Teal. Soft Sky is even more pale than Bashful Blue, and River Rock is more a cross between Sahara Sand and Creamy Caramel -- doesn't really look like either one.
Doesn't sound like repeats to me! I can't wait to play with them and see how they go with the main 48!

It's so hard to tell what colors *really* look like until you have them in-hand! I remember lots of similar comments last year when the current In Colors first came out. It seems to me that Cool Carib was the *least* favorite of a lot of people -- until they got to actually use it! ;) I'm really hoping that the Pomegranate isn't as magenta-ish IRL as it appears, and that the Wasabi isn't a re-run of Luscious Lime (retired in 2001 for good reason, IMHO) -- but I'll reserve final judgement until I see them all in person and have a chance to work with them.
I do trust the SU designers to make sure that all 6 colors coordinate beautifully with each other -- and if there are some I don't care to use, so be it! I found that I used the Cranberry, Carib and Bucky Blue most often, but I really like the Violet and Thyme, too. The Marigold never did much for me, but I'm sure I'll use up what I have at some point. That's the good thing about assortments -- and I understand the new In Colors will be offered in cardstock assortments. I'm really looking forward to the new darker gray in the Neutrals line, and the new tan (River Rock?) looks very promising too!
It will be interesting to re-visit some of these threads in a few months, yes?
Yes, I am one of those who fell in love with Cool carib...I am definitely stocking up...paper and reinkers...wonder if they could "run out" before filling all our stock up orders, yikes!
Loving these blues and the wasabi...won't they look delish with choc. chip?!

My understanding is that the new Australian catalog has Cool Carib. in it, plus all the other In Colors in that group, so hopefully that means SU will still have plenty available to fill our orders right up until June 30.
oooh, I was hoping that the wasabi would be brighter, but I still really like it and the guava and river rock. I think the guava will be really fun to play with!!
I like them all looking at them on the monitor - I bet they will be nicer in person!
Better start saving $$$ now - with the new TAC catty and SU catty soon to be arriving!!!!
I guess that I look at it more like fashion. I buy a few new things each year in new colors. But I also still wear navy and black and khaki and white and cream, etc. year after year. (NOT the same clothes necessarily, though.) I just don't overload my closet with, say lime green or orange. I'll buy something new but probably won't do much stocking up on this year's colors.
Oh. And I want to add that I'll buy the full line of each color....one of everything for each color I buy. Then I'm set for playtime! Until the next colors come out that is...ggg.

I definitely like the Wasabi...don't know about the rest of them yet. I did stock up on CC today with an order...I ordered two packs of paper and a reinker. I figure that will be good to last me til I get bored of it

Ha ha, I know most people are talking about the recent SU! retirement list instead of the new In Colors, but I was looking at my shoes the other day & found myself wondering, "I wonder if my shoes are the color that River Rock is going to be?"
