I am in need of round red buttons 1/2 and I need about 150 of them does anyone know where I can purchase them and wont cost me an arm and a leg for them?
Have you tried Hobby Lobby? I know they have a bunch of buttons there. I would look there or at JoAnns. They have fabric, so there is a better chance. Also, I recently embossed buttons, but that would be really hard for 150. :-) But in that case, you just need to buy a bag of any colored buttons and versamark and whatever color red embossing poweder you want.
Wal Mart had bags of tiny white and black buttons. But I don't remember red.
You could order a bag of the red button mix found part way down the page here. It is a mix of sizes, unfortunately, but the big bag for $6.60 should give you enough to work with, I would think.
Not sure what color red you are looking for.... option would be color them with nail polish. Might be cheaper to get some clear or white buttons and paint them. Here is link to Dana's tutorial: http://danasdabblingstudio.blogspot....land-card.html
Then again 150 is a lot to color.... just a thought.
You could try Buttons Galore. They have a website and all kinds of buttons. I have ordered from them and their shipping turnaround time was very quick.
therubbercafe.com They might not have them on their site...but I know she has tons of stock in them. Very resonable and in a cute little reusable container too. Just email her and she'll send you a quote for whatever quanity you want. HTH
