I've had a Pink ATG for a few months now. After reading all the threads out here with the pros and cons, I was a little hesitant to buy it but with a 50% off coupon at Michael's I couldn't resist.
I am a bit of a klutz, I've ruined a project or two by fumbling with an ink pad right over the page and dropping it...ink down of course. I have a little carpal tunnel from years of typing, and I experience occasional joint pain in my fingers.
All that being said, I have an EASY time with this applicator! It's very light weight and if I take my time I've had no problems with the adhesive strip coming off the roller, or gunking up and leaving little clumps of adhesive on my project or on the applicator; which is a frequent problem for me with the SNAIL adhesive and other brands like that.
I am very happy with my purchase even though I don't do "production" creations, just one or two when I have time. Except Christmas then I do lots more. But the cost savings on refills and the ease of use make this an excellent buy ( especially with a coupon!).
I am also in love. M's didn't have them so ordered mine from overstock dot com and am so happy I did. I still need to get used to it a little more but it's not cumbersome at all, which was my main fear.

I watched a tutorial this morning on this ATG and even on how to change the rolls. It looks like it is very easy to use and I am thinking the savings in buying refills would be phenomenol for me. I have gone through at least four three packs of tombo refills in the past two weeks! The next 50% off coupon that I get for Michaels is now planned!

I have a 50% coupon for this Friday and Saturday but don't know how to link it here. If you want to give me your email address I'll forward it to you
I love mine too. It was a bit of a pain in the butt when I first got it, but after I got the hang of using it I won't ever go back to the other adhesives. I like that it is big enough that it won't ever get 'lost' under all my other supplies.
My only complaint is that I don't care for the general purpose refills. They are not as good as the acid free scrapping ones.

Agreed - I grabbed the general purpose ones by accident, and I don't like how the adhesive comes off the roll as well. And they smell funny!
Unfortunately, the acid-free refills smell funny too. I find that if I leave them out of the box for about a week or so, they smell a little less.
Honest to god, the acid-free refills I have don't smell. I know there have been lots of complaints about that in the forums here, but my acid-free ones are ok. It's just the general purpose - they smell kind of musty or moldy. Blechhhh
I have had my red 714 for probably 3 years now and have gone through countless rolls of adhesive tape. I just yesterday received my latest batch of 24 rolls. My good friend makes a lot of cards and could not afford one of the guns so I gifted her one this week. I told her to be patient with it and she will love it. I sure hope she does...it will save her a lot of money on adhesives.
