Default Problems with my Big Shot - Solution Found!!

Hi ladies,

Yesterday my big shot started to make very ugly grinding noises when I tried to do any form of die cutting and then it decided that it's handle would not longer like to turn!

I had heard of ladies who have snapped their handle with this kind of problem, so I got my hubby to take a look at it. He found the problem, and I have taken photographs and blogged them, in the hope that it will help others in the future.

Luv To Stamp: Found The Problem!!

If you go to my blog you'll find all the info there! Please don't think I'm trying to get traffic to my blog - I really think this will help others!

Karen

Also make sure you don't tear it apart before the warranty runs out because they probably won't honor a warranty if you take it apart. When the warranty is up, I say go for it! I am a do-it-yourselfer myself!

Hi Kathy!

My warranty was up a good while back, so thats why I had hubby take it apart for me. I had to get my receipt out to check though! lol

Cindy - thanks for that info, but in mine, its not the actual little gear thing thats broken, rather the bearing that sits inside. You can literally see where its getting caught purely because it rusted and worn! Glad Ellison fixed your problem though!

Landed here trying to see what all problems can occur to the Big Shot. I had a crushed bearing and fortunately could repair it at home myself. Here is the story : Cards ,Crafts ,Kids Projects: How I repaired my Big Shot !
