PTI new Scarlett color vs. SU old Baroque Burgandy
I am almost out of my stash of SU retired Baroque Burgandy. Does anyone know if the new PTI Scarlett color (I think the name is longer than just scarlett) is close to the old SU color? I'm hoping I can order the new paper, but use my old Baroque Burgandy ink....or do I need the PTI ink also?
I'm doing a project for a Texas A&M student.....their colors are white and burgandy.

oh thank you! I think I'm going to like the PTI Scarlett Jewel even more than the SU Baroque Burgandy!!!!! not to mention I can't get the Baroque anymore! and I can use my old ink!!!! yeah!!! thank you, thank you, thank you!
you're welcome ad yes it is. Our school colors are red white and blue and I need a graduation card. I usually struggle with the red, but this is just right!
Thanks for the visuals, I've been so frustrated that I didn't stock up on Baroque Burgundy paper before they discontinued. I've been stuck with this perfectly good ink pad and reinker and no paper to match. Now it looks like I'll be able to use them after all.
And can I just say that I really dislike Bravo Burgundy?

Thank you so much for posting this...I was wondering the same thing. I LOVE the discontinued Baroque Burgundy (Bravo Burgundy is too brown for me) and Scarlet Jewell looks pretty close to me. Now I can use it more, and get some beautiful ribbon to match!
lol...yeah...I don't like the bravo burgandy either. I never understood why SU would have retired the good color...and then substituted the brownish red sewage color. So glad to know that PTI's new color will match!!!!!
And the PTI Scarlett Jewell is so rich looking and the buttons are absolutely wonderful and rich too! Of course, I also like all of the ribbon. Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure I'll use it often and reorder the paper.

I've order PTI ribbon in other colors. It's all beautiful, great quality. I am definitely ordering it all in the Scarlet Jewel!!!! Thanks so much for you help and the fabulous pictures!

I bought the whole package (with all the ribbons, ink and buttons). In that package there are two rolls with polka dots. One is perhaps 5/8 and the other maybe 1/2. The larger has larger dots and smaller has smaller dots.
