This is old for most of you so maybe you can help me.
I have so many punches big and small and huge and even bigger.:p I have them hanging down the door and it is filled now. I have a full drawer now also. May I have your ideas on how to get them up on the wall.
Thanks and Merry Christmas

There are lots of ideas and photos on SCS. I've seen where people buy these metal towel rods from Ikea and store them that way. Others have taken plastic rain gutter and mounted it to a wall. Some use over the door shoe organizers. Lots and lots of ideas.....

Where would find the the photos. Do you just put a word in the search field. I am so new at trying to find things on the site. I know there is lots out there but I am all thumbs in trying to find stuff. Thank you for letting me know there are things out there for me to see.

I use pegboard. I have a big piece about 4' X 3') of it attached to my wall. I attached pegboard hooks, and a wooden dowel sits in the hooks (one on each end). Each punch sits on the dowel, kinda leaning on the pegboard. Sorry I don't have a picture. It was cheap!
This is kinda the same idea as the pegboard and dowels I mentioned. Just imagine pegboard in place of the wood and dowels in place of the metal rods. I think my method is a bit more flexible--the hooks and rods can be moved easily and rearranged because they're on pegboard.
I just use an over the hanger shoe rack that has 18 slots in it. They all fit there. They have slots that range from small to big pockets in there. I bought it at Walmart for $7.60.

After seeing the curtain rods, I told lmy sister and brother-in-law. When they came for their annual visit, my bil installed the rods for me - 6 on one side and then he went out and bought metal flashing and installed that on the opposite wall so those punches without the lips could just slide down onto the flashing. I was shocked when, after he hung all my punches, he casually mentioned that I had 162. OMG...really. When they left, I found 12 more and have bought a few more since then. And did I mention we had to mount the rods and flashing in the HALLWAY. I've busted out of the craftroom (second bedroom which has not and never will see a bed! BUT, now that I can see them all, I'm using them all the time. I love whoever first came up with this idea...
I am glad I saw this! I was really thinking of getting rid of most of my punches because I did not how or where to store them.
Now I have great ideas, thanks to all of you!

Ditto! Love it! If I run out of room on one side of the door I will start one on the inside of the closet door.
I use the rain gutters on my walls and it works awesome! If you want to see pics just click on my name here to the left and go to my gallery and go to the first page (oldest) ;) let me know if you have any questions!!
I use curtain rods also - I think they are called cafe rods - they are extendable. I bought two that extend from 28 inches to 40 inches. As I have acquired more punches, I pull out the ends of the rods. They have worked out well.
