Default QuicKutz-Ejection Foam Sheets???? Help Needed!!

Would someone explain to me about the Ejection Foam Sheets PLEASE!!! I bought a set of the QuicKutz Ovals 2 and it came with a sheet of Ejection Foam. Do I really need to use the Ejection Foam?? If so, why? The Ovals seem so much like the Spellbinders Nestabilities, except for the shape, and I don't need the Ejection Foam for that. So I'm very confused...Please help!!!!!

Many, many ladies took the foam off their dies so they would work in the big shot (I think thats the right machine). Some of them had problems later with the dies scratching the mag plates in the squeeze. Some people removed the foam from certain ones, ones where the cut wasn't quiet deep enough to cut all the way cleanly.

I'm no expert... but the ejection foam is supposed to help "eject" the die cuts from the die. That way you're not digging them out and not using a stylus, piercer or whatever to push them out of the die. I know with my Spellbinders dies that are small or have a detailed design, this is sometimes an issue. The pushing or digging can distort the die cut.

I took the ejection foam off a couple of my dies once.....the cardstock went into the dies and I had to dig it out.....didn't take long for me to figure out just exactly what the purpose of the "ejection" foam is for....lol
