Default Retired Stampin Up Ribbon & Ebay

I've gone through Ebay to get lots of retired stamps and accessories and have never had a problem. I bid on several rolls of retired SU ribbon and won 6 of them. They arrived today, but I'm a little concerned. These ribbon spools don't have the words "Stampin Up" on them anywhere. I've only been using SU for the past 2 years or so, and I'm thinking that maybe on the older ribbon spools, they might not have labeled them?? Could someone help me out? I've contacted the seller with a nice email because I'm just not sure that these aren't SU.

Thanks!

Some of my older SU ribbon is not labeled Stampin' Up! I have been selling for 5 years so it could be a change in the time frame.

You are correct...they used to be on very generic looking, white rolls, with a label stuck on them.

Yep, it was only within the past 2-3 years I think that they started adding their logo. I still have several spools that simple have a label with the old catalog number and nothing else.

Default Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the information. After reading the replies, I sent the seller an email. Fortunately, she was gracious and said she understood my concerns. All's well that ends well!
