I've looked at it, but I've already adopted the system i saw Nichole Heady (from Papertrey) using, and it's working really well for me. She winds her ribbon as she gets them on spools and stores them in big jars (here's a link:
http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...ew-studio.html )
Mine are just in one of the drawers of my plastic file-drawer thingy, but I've been able to find things really quickly, and everything fits in just *one* drawer now that their off of the spools, which is amazing to me. Someday, my dream stamping space will look like Nichole's (maybe), and all my ribbon will be color sorted into candy-store jars, waiting for creations galore *sigh* ;o)
I think it'd be a really good system, especially if you have a towel rod or clip-it-up or something to clip that ring to...all your ribbon would be handy, you'd be able to see it all (and seeing it is the first step toward using it!), and it'd look pretty. It might be hard if you had really long pieces of ribbon though (like SU! sells), but maybe those you'd just leave on hte spool, and you'd reserve this system for by-the-yard purchases...
just some of my thoughts. I'd love to hear what others think, though, too!
