I ran to Sam's and got the spice caddy that had been discussed in a thread, that I now can not find. Someone had decorated the jars and used it on their work table, to hold little things, like brads, etc...Does anyone remember this thread or where it is? I'd like to see the photo again.
Also, found a circular wooden sissor holder that holds 18 pair of decorative sissors. Have not tried them yet, but if they aren't so great, can put in the ones I have and like.
Thank you! It is just very very cute. And, I needed something for those little things. I have open packets of things that keep tumbling out all over.....I will have alot of fun making this!
Ok girls No one has mentioned the price... what are they selling for anyway??? ..I can really see me filling one of these up really fast with buttons, eyelets, brads OH MY !!

What Sam's in Kansas do you shop at? (I might spend the extra money in gas just driving there...:???: Gas in Kansas City is $2.80 per gallon. My DH's car takes Premium, which we didn't know until after we bought it, and it is $3.00 per gallon. YUCK!)
I found that you can get on-line and order what you want and they will pull it and have it ready for you to pick up when you arrive...I might try it.

I have my little spice rack set up with brads and things in the jars. I have had three jars do this, now....maybe I just got a defected set?
But, I will go to open the jar and the bottom of the jar pops off, and I get little glass shards all over...!!! I don't know if there is pressure in there, or if maybe this set had been dropped and there are cracks in the glass already.
Anyway, be careful, if you haven't opened and closed them much yet....
My luck, probably got a bad one!

It's my guess that yours was probably dropped somewhere along the way...nothing like that has happened to me. Sorry you got a defective one! Hopefully you can take it back and explain what happened...

If you are meaning the Fiskars 18 sets of scissors in a wooden caddy, I have one of those and found that my other Fiskars scissors don't fit!
I got one and LOVE it! It's just so cute when you decorate the tops, and it's so nice to have all my "little things" out where I can get to them easily.

I went to order one online and I AM NOT A MEMBER. I hate to join just to get this. The nearest on to me is over an hour away. Wouldn't get too much use out of it. They are only 14.81 online. Oh darn it anyway!

Mine just arrived and I am so excited!! It was $14.81, tax $1.08, and shipping $11.04 ,because it is very heavy. The turntable works beautifully~~much better than my loaded PC tool caddy! Can't wait to start decorating it~I think I am going to need a load of ribbon. Is anyone doing a bulk order soon that they want to share? Speaking of ribbon, there is a plastic cap on each jar with 5 holes in it. I think if you put ribbon in a jar you could pull the ribbon out through the hole! :p

Wow that was fast! I am so glad it got there so quickly!
I just looked at these and they are so cute!! I have a question though. Are the jars about the same size as baby food jars? If so, do you think the crop-a-dile will go thru the top so I can get my ribbon out? I just bought the crop-a-dile today and havn't opened it yet. Just an idea here...

I just tried the COD on the lid and couldn't get the lid into the space. The lid is about 7/16 of an inch deep, if I am measuring correctly. (I'm not good at that!) But I do think you could pull narrow ribbon out the hole in the plastic top, (meant to be used as a shaker lid with the spices), or cut between two holes for 3/8" ribbon. That's what I plan to do.
My Sam's Club was out of the spice rack too, but ordering it on line was simple and it came very quickly.

I have been watching this thread for a while and I went to our SAMS and they only have a taller circular rack (which I don't like). I went online to SAMS and they have the rectangular one as seen on here, but it says they are only available in stores. Is there anyone out there who might want to check their SAMS for me? There aren't any other SAMS anywhere around here. I would LOVE if I could pay someone to ship a couple to me.

Thanks for the info. I will keep that site in mind. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy it cheaper? I want to get at least 2 possibly 3 of them. I did an internet search and some places sell it for $40. Yikes!
