shimmer white cardstock?

A friend wants to use shimmer white cardstock for her wedding invitations, but needs something more cost-effective than Stampin' Up's... Does anyone know of another source?

PaperTreyInk has White shimmer cardstock http://www.papertreyink.com/pb_shimmercardstock.html It has been awhile since I bought any from SU so I don't know if the price is the same or more. PTI does have great service.

Eclectic Paperie sells Cryogen White Cardstock 50 sheets for $16.99. That's the cheapest I've been able to find. Shipping is pretty reasonable too (they charge the actual cost). I'm pretty sure that this is the same paper that Stampin' Up sells. I've used it before on wedding invitations and it's great! Hope this helps.

I have purchased Curious Metallics Iridescent Cryogen White (which I understand is same as SU) from CUT CARD STOCK.

I have had great service from them and highly recommend them.

Lisa, if you are using the white as a layer, why not consider using the shimmer paint (gold or white) as a spray onto our whisper white? That'd be pretty cost effective and gorgeous.

A Muse makes a beautiful white shimmer cardstock and there are also colors and damask! Oh and white shimmer envelopes in several sizes! Not sure how the price compares to SU. Here is the solid white and then if you just search for "shimmer", you'll get links to all the other colors, damask, and envelopes.

I have made several wedding invitations and I have always found the best price at Anchorpaper.com. If she wants to do anything special, like a pocketfold, they even have the larger sheets which they will custom cut for you, but you have to email them for a quote. Their customer service is fantastic, shipping is fast, and I have always found their prices to be the lowest of anyone.

For our son's wedding I purchased paper from PaperandMore. Their cardstock is just lovely. They have a nice selection of sizes to choose from. I purchased the 11X17 as we were making pockerfold cards and the cost per card was very reasonable. They also have coordinating text weight paper that we used for the programs and card insert info. Their shipping is very reasonable and they ship quickly.

I love the Curious paper that Cutcardstock carries. Also gotten it at Marcopaper. It is Curious Cryogen White. I also love the vanilla shimmer they have, Poison Ivory. Both are beautiful and what I used for my wedding announcements.
