Here are a few items...

calendar candy by bjacobs150 at Splitcoaststampers

bind it all bday book by bjacobs150 at Splitcoaststampers

I have made several scrapbooks (all about the same size as these) I am planning to sell them at a craft show or give as gifts.

Talking Me too!!

MY BIA just arrived on Friday too! Too funny!

I am excited about it too - one thing I wanted to create was a color book (that I saw on here of course) - that had 3 sections which each had the 48 + 6 shades of SU colors so you could flip back and forth and see what color combinations looked good together up close and personal.

Enjoy!

I believe they are talking about Bind It All... not Cricut. Lucky you though... wish I had one.

Default BIA

Is the BIA limited to just 6 spiral thingies? I noticed that both projects had just 6 spiral bindings on the edge.

I just got mine on Thursday. I need to back away from the computer and go PLAY! LOL

The spiral bindings are 12" long. You cut them to the size that you need for your project. HTH

No, you can line it up and punch additional holes. I think the o-wire has maybe 18 tines. If you punch just the initial holes, you'd have to cut the o-wire.

The BIA goes through anything that fits into it--license plates, acrylic sheets (heat a bit to keep them from cracking), etc. I'm using matte board to back a book project for christmas and the BIA goes through it like butter. It's AMAZING!

Ok I got one too and I haven't even taken the white foam stuff out of it yet. I have a few questions. If I wanted to make a scrapbook, do you do the whole book and then punch the holes in it or the other way around? If you punch the holes first, then how would you cover your page with paper or what not? What do you cut the wires with? Wire cutters? I am scared to even play with it. It's just sitting there looking pretty.

It would be easier to cover pages first, then punch the holes for the binding. I highly recommend getting the book of project ideas, which has detailed instructions in the back on how to use the BIA from start to finish. While the BIA super easy to use, there are parts of the process that aren't exactly intuitive, KWIM?, and you don't want to punch wrong on a finished project!

I also recommend playing with scraps to practice before diving into a real project. That will give you some confidence.

Mine sat for a month looking cute as can be before I played with it. It's super fantabulous and you'll not regret it for a minute!

Happy playing!

Talking

here's some notebooks I've made with the bind it all. Super easy and they look great ... (if I do say so myself LOL ) ... I'm making them as parts of Christmas pressies. I just got some chipboard for the covers and got a huge pack of paper from the cheapie shop and cut it down to size. Each book has about 50 pages in it and I used the one inch o-wires. The first one took a little while to get it right but now I can make one in an hour if I set my mind to it and my five year old doesn't want to help

Here are a few books I made with mine...

http://stampingoddess.typepad.com/st...mas-wishe.html

http://stampingoddess.typepad.com/st...te-home-p.html

Another project, that I didn't post was a photo book from a recent trip. Hubby printed out his pictures on 5"x7" photo paper. I bought the 5" x 7.5" covers from Zutter, covered them, made dividers pages, using card stock any my round tab punch. Bound it all together for a great mini book. And yes, the binding did go through the tops of the picutures, but for this project we were both OK with that.

I made this. Cut the word book pages on my Wishblade and then bound it with my BIA. Forgot to center the pages though ;(, but will still use it.

Made a book for my DD with index cards for her addresses, a recycled notebook from paper left over from making envelopes and a mint box, and a cd album.

Default Bind-It-All project ideas

I have made a mini envelope/tag book, a birthday card book, a vintage book for a swap, a file folder book, a 'boot' book, a credit card book and a 'hybrid' book. I have a few on my website making-mini-scrapbooks.com -- look under Bind-It-All Project Ideas. I'll be adding three more this week - I hope.

No, the entire book is made from cd's . I punched the holes into the cd's with the BIA after covering them with pp and then bound it. I used five cd's on this album and 3/4" wires.
