Default Sizzix Sandwich Recipes?

Anyone use the new Cuttlebug Embossing folders in their Sizzix?

Would you have a "Sandwich Recipe" for it?

Thanks!

I've used those embossing folder with my Sizzix. You need the adapter, and then just put the cardstock/paper into the folder, then press the lever. Works great!

Default Sizzix Sandwich

Which adapter?

I don't have a Sizzix, my friend does, and wanted to get some Cuttlebug folders, but didn't know if they would work in the Sizzix.

Is it an adapter you get from Sizzix?

Thanks!

The adapter is basically a thick magnet that attaches to the Sizzix pressure plate. It is made by Sizzix; I found mine at my local AC Moore. I believe you can use the Sizzlit small dies with the Sizzix machine and adapter too.

Yes, the adapter is for the Sizzlits. I too have used the Cuttlebug embossing folders with mine and it's works like a charm. I went to our local craft store the other day to see if the Cuttlebug dies could also be used, but could not get a concrete answer (long story...new salesperson) so I don't know about the dies yet.

Same here, the embossing folders work great as long as you have the adaptor. I also asked at a local craft store about the cuttlebug dies, and could not find anyone who knew if they could be used in the sizzix machine. Would be curious to know if they do.

yes - the cuttlebug dies do work in the sizzix. you need to use the adaptor as well. The cuttlebug dies will cut chipboard too and I think a tad better than my original sizzix dies do.

Great! Thanks for the 411. A friend of mine just bought a CB & I bought a CB alphabet set, figuring if I couldn't use it in my Sizzix, I'd just use her CB. I haven't had a chance to try it out in my Sizzix yet. Maybe I'll have to play with it today.
