Default Smooch Spritz

Hi,
I just tried these out yesterday and I'm kinda ambivalent on how I feel about them :???:. I love intense color but I used literary 1/5th of the bottle just to get complete coverage of one of the small E primas. So I basically would get 5 or 6 primas colored with one tube of it. I think they go for about $5 a tube, I got them for $3 on sale at AC moore. Oh, maybe I'm using it wrong, I don't know. I wish the tube were larger.
I just don't see myself buying anymore of these considering the little use I would get from it at the cost. I guess I was wondering how anyone else felt about these or maybe some tips on getting better mileage out of them.

Thanks
LEE

P.S. One good thing is that I'll have some larger size spritz bottles when I finish the color. ;)

i have the clear one and haven't had that problem

there is a recipe for making your own shimmer mist using pearlex. but you have to add gum arabic which is pricey ! i have several pots of peral ex but no gum arabic

also i have seen a recipe using perfect pearls with water....i didnt have the right perfect pearl powder....out of luck again

do a google search for making your own glimmer mist....maybe you have the ingredients on hand. then you can reuse that nice glass cylinder when it's done

Lol, I love sparkly. I have loads of pearlex and I also have gum arabic and perfect pearls. I have made some shimmer mist which I liked. I also have the real shimmer mists which I love. The smooch just has a really nice intensity I can't seem to acheive with either the real or homemade shimmer mist.

Oh well, I guess I'll just save it for very special projects and guard it rabidly.

Thanks for the response.
