I am using my Stampin Scrub all the time. Well, and once in a while I/you have to clean it!
How do you do this or what do you use for it?
Most of the time I use a liquid dishwasher detergent (for cleaning by hand not the one for the dishwasher). But it doesn�t get all the ink out of it because after it dried I clean a stamp and there is already this kind of black color on it. I guess you know what I am talking about.
Any advice on this?
PS: I just had the thought during writing this, maybe I should try a gentle cycle in the washing machine? I have a German washing machine which is kind of different then the US machines. There is, for example, a cycle just for wool items...very gentle. :rolleyes:
Maybe its gotten to dirty before you tried to clean it. I usually clean mine every couple times I stamp. Also helps if you rub off alot of the ink from your stamp on a scrap piece of paper before you clean it. I dont know about the washing machine.
I take the pads out of the case and rinse them under very warm water. I kind of rub them a bit to get all the residue out. Then I let them air dry in the dishdrainer.
I don't think you need to clean them with detergent or any other kind of cleaners. Rinsing out really well should be enough. I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dishwasher as it could ruin them.

I throw them in the dishwasher, top rack...no heated dry cycle. The heat will melt them, so don't forget to turn that off!
The clean up right as rain!
I wouldn't have even thought of turning the heat cycle off for cleaning the scrub pads. Not sure if I can even do that on my German dishwasher, but thanks for the tip anyway. I'll try it when we get back in the states.

I do this too. I have a couple sets of pads so I don't have any conflicts with air drying.
You can use a little dish washing soap and rinse thoroughly.... I've had the same pads for 5 years and that's what i do.... if I need speedy drying... I run a few paper towels to dry most of it. You can also take a non alcohol baby wipe and rub it on the scrub pad in between cleanings... it really cleans them well and you don't have to wash so often.
The idea of stamping off before scrubbing is an EXCELLENT idea... I do that too!
