Staples Black Mini Gel Pens Discontinued

Staples told me they have stopped making their Black Mini Gel Pens but continue to make the ones in colors. Those colors look juvenile and don't write too well anyway. Does anyone know of another black pen that is the same size as the Staples one. The Pilot G2 is a tad larger. Thanks, Niki

My son uses Pilot G2 in .5 all the time. That is the finest point that Staples sells, I think. Very quick drying ink.

Thanks Mary Beth. I suppose I will be able to adapt the craft projects that I use the Staples pens for. Have an order for 20 of the post it note pads that use those pens and am wondering what to do.

staples had them on clearance and I bought a bunch of them. The problem I am finding is the lids do not stay on the pens, but they are great to write with.

Just checking to see if anyone has found any black mini pens to replace the ones from Staples since this inquiry was first posted....I'm still looking for them. The Pilot G2 will not work for what I want to do with them plus they're pretty pricey.

I looked around a bit, and you're right - no one seems to make the mini pens in black anymore. There seem to be quite a few mini pens in colors. Could you adapt your item to use the colors that the pens come in?
