Default SU Clear Mount stamps

Hi. I have done a search and I am not sure I am clear on the answer, so...I am here to pester all the SU demos.

Are the clear mount stamps permenantly mounted or after you use them and clean them, you can remove them from the acrylic block.

Thank you
Paula

Thanks so much for the clarification.

They are temporarily mounted to the clear block.

The beauty of the clear mount system is that I no longer have to find storage for all the blocks. I have one set of blocks, stored in a handy carrying case. I have my clear mount stamp sets stored in CD cases. When I want to stamp an image -- I take it out of the CD case. I adhere it to the clear mount. Ink it up, stamp it, clean it. I remove it, put it back into the CD case. And then I am ready for the next stamp.

Hope that helps.

Blessings,

Lela

wooohooo!!!! Thank you. I am familiar with cling mounts but was unsure by what I was reading in my catalog. This is wonderful. Anyone here from long Island who wants to help me unmount my stamps???? I don't have to many sets....I think less than 50 total, but saving room would be awesome.

Thanks so much Lela!!!

Here is what I do (out in California

*I purchase Cling Mount from Sunday International

*I put my stamps in the freezer for ten minutes.

*I take them out, and I pry off just the rubber. Sometimes I need a sharp tool like a paper piercer to pry just the rubber off of the mount.

*I put the rubber on the sticky side of the cling mount.

*I peel off the backing.

*I cut out the image with my SU! scissors.

Done

50 sets is totally doable!! I've done a few hundred already, and I am SO HAPPY!

Blessings,

Lela

When you use the stamp do you put the white paper back on or do you stick the stamp directly to the case that the SU clear mount stamp set came in?

Directly to the case You do have to push them a bit to make em cling but mine stick fairly well.

WHat I do is I keep the rubber from around the stamps, remove the backing and stick it in the DVD containter that the set came in. Then in the spots I put my stamps, it keeps them more secure and as well you know if you are missing a stamp

I was going to suggest the same thing---I only have a couple of the clear mount type ones but I put the stickers on and save the piece that you pop them out of and then put that piece on the back of the case. This way there is somewhere for them to be secured to and they don't just fall out when I open the case.

And to the original poster--yes they are not permanently mounted on the blocks. You take them off the block and put them back in the case which is the same size as a DVD. Easy to store--although I still prefer my wood mount ones. But when I get my SU benefits I find they go further when I order the non-wood mounts so that I get more product.
