I have searched and haven't come across this topic.
Does anyone know if there is ANY SIZE DIFFERENCE in the "Cut-Out" portion of the Curly Label design between (1) SU Movers & Shapers Curly Label and
(2) SU Curly Label Punch Bundle? Also, if there is NO DIFFERENCE, is it better to purchase the Movers & Shapers since there would be more versatility?
Assuming you have a die cut machine and all you're wanting is the cut out, then you may be right about "Movers & Shakers", but to get the co-ordinating stamp set, you would have to order the Bundle.
I have the bundle and I really like the label set.
I use the M&S dies and it's very handy being able to put the die in the middle of a piece of paper. Punches don't reach very far.
However, I love love love the whole stamp sets/coordinating punches thing, and will be getting the Curly Labels Bundle so I can have the stamp set. Punches are so quick and easy to use, and if you don't think you'll need to put the cutout very far away from an edge, go with the CL Bundle and get the coordinating stamp set.
I wish SU sold just the Curly Label Movers & Shapers die, and not the whole kit with the platform. I already have a number of M&S dies and a platform, and you only need one platform.
If SU intends to sell more M&S, they should sell them both with and without the platform (like Sizzix does). No one (in her right mind) will pay for a second platform just to get a second die.
I'd love to have that Curly Labels M&S die, but I'm not paying $40 for it when I don't need the kit/platform.
Based on previous punch bundle offerings, we'll likely be able to buy the curly label punch & coordinating stamp set separately in the next catalogue out July 1st.

Thank you soooo much for the information, but do you know if the cut-out SIZE is the same for both?

That's exactly what I was hoping to see in the new Spring/Summer cat, but it didn't happen, and I read earlier from someone that claims to have inside scoop with SU corporate, that there are no current plans at this time for offering the dies separately. Let's just hope they have been misinformed.

I have both the die and the punch, just went and punched out both to compare sizes for you. It looks to me like the M&S die is "maybe" about 1/16" larger on all sides than the punch ... will give a slight layering look if you use the two punched out pieces together. The portion that is cut out from the paper has a perfed edge - which you wouldn't get using just the punch.
I'm confused as to what was said about this die selling with platforms that we already purchased. Mine didn't have anything extra. The platform that it comes with is just like the bigz dies - very thick, foam cushioned - it cuts the entire card. The bottom portion is open and this is where you position the die (it's magnetic). I don't think I could do this with any thing I currently have. Then again, maybe I'm just not understanding this correctly?
Thank you for taking the time to measure for me! It was so kind of you!
Regarding the platform/die thing....Sizzix sells the "sets" (like SU's Movers & Shapers Curly Label), but they also sell just dies (the movable pieces) to use with the platforms you already own! As long as you already own a platform with the "Card size and open moveable area that you like" you can merely purchase different dies for different "cut-out" design shapes for the front of your card. I hope this helps..........

Once you have one of the those bigz dies that makes the card, you don't need more of them. Sizzix sells the small "movers" parts separately for about $6 or $7 in different designs. So you can use the curly label mover or the 3 box window mover or the corners movers all with the same platform. So instead of $40 for each (bigz platform+small mover shape) you only pay $7 for the small mover shape once you have a single platform.
Sizzix carries a line of Movers & Shapers. They sell kits that have a platform (the big one with the open, magnetic area for moving the die around) and also just the individual dies.
I have purchased 2 full kits (with platform) from Sizzix. Now I just buy the dies.*
This thread got me wondering, so I checked the Sizzix website and Sizzix does sell a kit that produces an A2 card. Kit #1 says, "This kit includes the Horizontal A2 Card and Four Window Panes dies, but the Card can accommodate any of the other window or photo corner dies. The kit is compatible with the BIGkick and Big Shot machines (with a pair of Extended Cutting Pads and 6" x 12" paper). All items sold separately. The folded Card measures approximately 5 1/2" x 4 1/8"."
There are four kits:
Kit #1: This kit includes the Horizontal A2 Card and Four Window Panes die. The folded Card measures approximately 5 1/2" x 4 1/8".
Kit #2: This kit includes the Vertical Note Card and Three Window Panes die. The folded Card measures approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" and fits in Movers & Shapers Kit #4 Note Card Envelope, #654783.
Kit #3: This kit includes the Horizontal Note Card and Wavy Window die. The folded Card measures approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" and fits in Movers & Shapers Kit #4 Note Card Envelope, #654783.
Kit #4: This kit includes the Note Card Envelope and Flower die. The assembled Envelope measures approximately 3 1/2" x 5".
There are a lot of dies sold separately, too. Not only ones sold in the kits, but many other shapes, as well.
* I have Kits #2 and #4 and a bunch of individual dies. I was wrong about not "needing" another platform. I do need the A2 size, so I'll buy the SU kit (and not the Sizzix Kit #1). Yay! I really wanted that SU CL die but thought I would be duplicating a platform. Now that I know I need that size, I can get the die!

I really like the bundle package, nice addition to embellishments.
I also tried an online image downloaded for larger frames, that I can cut out and resize myself on a copier or scanner of mine, but just got and haven't used, yet This is a small cost and they are easy to cut out and resize. Here is the company: http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/th...g_cafe/frames/
