A very new demonstrator here from the UK, just been asked a question by a customer and I think I know the answer but I thought I'd check!
The Stampin' around rollers, you can get uninked cartridges for them, in the UK catalogue we can only get the Classic ink refills, will the classic ink wash off the roller? and any hints or tips for doing that?
Has anyone had sucess in using versamark ink on the pads too for embossing?
I'd just also like to say thank you for all your inspiration and ideas, I have been visiting the site for years, finally now I've got my hands on some Stampin' Up! goodies I'll be able to contribute too.
Yup, classic ink washes off the wheels, just like it washes off a regular rubber stamp. I'm not sure I completely understand your question about Versamark - do you mean using the Versamark pad to roll a wheel on for embossing? If that's what you meant, then I don't know 'cuz I haven't tried that. However, if you're just wondering about using Versamark ink for embossing, then yup, I do that all the time!
HTH!
By the way, if you're a Stampin' Up demo, you should sign up for the demo side of the forums. You'll find tons of great info over there!

Fantastic, thanks I don't think I asked the right question though.......I meant does it wash off the pad that you put the bottles of ink onto?
The versamark ink question is we can get versamark ink in bottles so I was thinking that you could use that to ink up the pad and then emboss that way rather than rolling the wheel on the pad.
Thanks for the hint about the demo forum, I've just applied.
Yes, you can put Versamark ink from the refill bottle into a blank wheel cartridge and use it with the wheels to roll a Versamark image. Then add embossing powder, or just use it as a watermark image, or rub pastels on with a sponge dauber.

Yes, you can use the Versamark reinker to ink an empty cartridge for the wheel; I haven't done it, but there are some threads about how to do it (these may be on demo side). HTH's.
Now the pads that you add ink to, do you need seperate ones for different colours or can you wash them?
You will use soooooooooo much water trying to rid the sponge of the previous color ... and still it will not wash clean. (Guess how I know this .... ) Please do yourself a favor and order another blank cartridge or the specific color cartridge that you will need next. Save your water and your time. ;)

Thank you I'm all for saving water and time, I shall pass that on to the customer.
