Vellum and laser printer

have any of you printed onto vellum with a laser printer?
I'm curious if it will be to hot and melt the paper.

you can print on it with an ink jet printer. i just saw a cool idea, painting watercolors on cardstock, scanning it, then printing it out on vellum. (because you can't watercolor on vellum) sorry i don't know more about laser printing, maybe call kinko's and see what they have to say? i would think a lighter weight would warp, but i don't think it would melt and stick in the machine. i also don't want to be the reason someone ruins a very expensive machine....

I ran vellum thru our IBM Laser at work - it's an older printer, black & white only. I wouldn't try it in a colored one, though - I believe they get quite a bit hotter.

I've run SU vellum cardstock (not the paper) through my HP 3550 color laser printer. It worked great. I did have a problem at first with stray bits of toner on the vellum, but after running it through a maintenance/cleaning cycle via the software, it worked like a charm. I was very happy with the results.
