Default We R Memory Keepers Punchboard

I’m having problem with his punch board. I’m trying to make envelopes that are for a 4 x 6 card. The paper measures 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 and the score line is at 3 3/8 I have done this at least 20 times and none of the envelopes turn out the same size. I’m very careful about measuring my paper and about properly placing the paper and on the punch board. Has anybody else had this problem?

Is that a measurement given on the punchboard itself? I won't be able to check that measurement till tomorrow evening, but I always use this calculator http://crafterskey.blogspot.com/p/calculator.html and it's suggesting 8 5/16", scored at 3 7/16" for the more generous size envelope for a 4x6 card.

If this board is new to you, note that you only line up the edge of the paper with the recommended measurement the first time. For the other three sides, you line up your score line with the little point sticking out of the part where you press...

If it's not new to you, my apologies.

Those are the measurements on my punch board. I tried cutting a piece of paper at that size and got one side off by 1/16 of an inch. It would fold, but it was a bit off. Does your trimmer cut perfectly straight? I think my trimmer will wobble at times in the cutting rack, which will throw a precise cut off a tad. I would check the cut piece to make sure it is exactly the size you think it should be.

Thanks for the help. I cut three pieces of paper at the same time on the trimmer. Used the exact same score at 3 3/8. Not one was the same. It’s a mystery to me. Makes no sense.

I know at one time the measurements on their product was wrong and they had the correct information on their website. I don't remember which product it was but it could be the one you have. They also had some useful infor on how to use the punch boards. Worth a look.

The 123 Punch Board shows 8 3/8 square score at 3 1/2. I have not tried that measurement on my regular punch board, but it is slightly bigger.
