What kind of CB embossing folders would you like to see?
I was making a set of cards for someone today, and then it hit me! I couldn't find the right color ink for some reason and it was getting really frustrating (even with black)..these are a gift for a child who enjoys bright colors and I used a printed piece of paper for the background..ANYWAYS, wouldn't it be cool if they came out with some type of embossing letter folders..like small ones and they would be individual..I was thinking, now that would be SOOO easy to work with..also what if they came out with different sized letters..that would be cool too!!
What kinds of folders should they make next?? curious!
Paisley, Argyle, retro looking geometric squares, Plaid, Crosshatch, ribbon stripes, ticking, flourishes, and oh, so many more. I was very disappointed with the ones that just came out.
I agree, some Paisley and flourishes and polka dots would be super! I would also like some embossing images that are bigger than the little bitty ones they put out but not a background image, kwim? Like butterflies, frogs and ducks.
I'm also not as keen on their designs for die cuts. I have some dies but I've bought mostly those from other manufacturers.
I'd like longer folders--at least 8.5" but 12" would be great! For scrapbooking I'd love some blowing leaves for fall, Christmas holly or pine boughs, and a design that looks like a Christmas wreath on a paneled door.
And I was looking at a paper towel the other day and noticed it had a cool pattern on in that I thought would make an awesome embossing folder - kind of large interlocking circles.
I hope the designers of these folders read this thread!!
Your best bet for getting what you want is to contact the manufacturer directly, as opposed to hoping on the off chance they actually hang out here, and somone spies this thread, UKWIM? ;)

Fiskars makes a texture plate that features paisley. It's not as deep an impression as the CB folders make, but, sometimes, I really prefer a more subtle texture than the ones the CB folders provide. The paisley one is part of a set 3 (or 4???) plates, that have a different embossing design on each side.

Um, let's not make this list!! We are all going to broke if we get our wishes!!! I love any sort of texture...so the linens/canvas or more like a lot of our BG stamps- print pattern!! The individual letters is also cool.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

All of these suggestions sound nifty. Right now I'd like to be able to find the "friendship" folder. Can't find it at JoAnns, Michael's, or even on line! and I really really neeeeeed it! she cried pitifully.

for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.
(borrowed from the quirkey card sayings thread).
We need an Anniversary and Get Well similar to the Happy Birthday embossing folder. I think we need more retro design embossing folders and we desperately need a Paisley folder!!!

I can't tell if it's in stock, but I've shopped with them before and enjoyed doing business with them. When I placed my order, some of the folders I wanted were out of stock, but they kept me informed, and soon as they had 'em in stock, they shipped out to me immediately, and without any additional shipping costs to me.
HTH,

Ummm.... did you mean 5 1/2" x 12"? the feed for the cuttlebug is only 6" wide. but it would be cool to get longer ones for scrappin'!

Yep, long skinny folders Imagine the big cards and scrapbook page borders we could make with loonngg folders! Long strips to wrap around pillar candles, and boxes, too. It would be wonderful!
More sentiments similar to the Birthday and Thank You - i.e. Get Well, Thinking of You, Friends, etc. Folders with small flowers; fruits (apples, bananas, bunches of grapes); bunches of balloons; "nature" stuff: acorns, pine cones, trees; stars, hearts, baby hand prints and foot prints; golf clubs; soccer balls, basket balls - etc. etc. etc.
